So the thinking is Jordan Davis or Kendrick (which might be a stretch).

I doubt Dean would be there when they pick and they don't need another edge rusher in Walker.

Or maybe it is the fact the Bulldogs have about 15 pro-ready players in this draft?

Travon Walker (Likely top 5 pick though)
Devonte Wyatt (R2)

ILB Quay Walker (R1-2)

SS Lewis Cine (R2)

WR George Pickens (R2)

No to Nakobe Dean for me. He's just Bush v2. While Bush is disappointing, we'd be better suited finding a compliment for him, not a replacement.


Georgia is rich with talent that I'd want.

I want OL to still be high priority, but I don’t think they have OL on the mind in the 1st anymore. I’d say it’s shaping up like:

1st (20): BPA (QB, ILB, DL, DB, WR)
2nd (52): WR, DB, ILB, QB
3rd (84): ILB, DB, OT, WR
4th (138): DB, OT, DL, TE, WR
6th (191): OT, DL, EDGE
7th (226): DB, EDGE
7th (242): Dart throw

This is how I'd like it played out:

1st (20): ILB/OL
2nd (52): OL/QB
3rd (84): OL/QB/WR
4th (138): WR/OL/EDGE
6th (191): EDGE/DB
7th (226): Whatever
7th (242): Whatever

Perfect scenario: We trade up into the top 3-5 to get Jordan Davis from Georgia. Dude is a beast.

• DB... Same thoughts I had about Matheiu. No chance with Minkah's deal on the horizon. Also, he seems to think the team has eyes on Joe Haden in FA and playing the waiting game. If he doesn't sign, then Witherspoon becomes a more realistic target.
• QB... Giving Trubisky the edge right now, but acknowledges that competition will be held in camp
• Schobert... Predicts he either takes a pay-cut or is outright released.
• Juju... Not counting him out, but thinks his market is worse than last year. Not good for Juju, but could be good for Steelers.

On the Juju front Julio Jones was just released. Yeah he has been MIA in Nashville but still puts a hamper on JuJu's market.

With Matheiu there will be a ton of online Steeler fans disappointed when he signs elsewhere. Geez it is getting bad with people thinking he is coming to Pittsburgh.
