I'm not so sure about that. Helped his numbers? sure. With our top scorer out, Garland needed to score more and with no Sexton (and Rubio) he handled the ball more. But Garland made an incredible leap from year 1 to year 2 WITH Sexton. It also meant he was wearing down end of year as he had to do too much. Of course, with DM, he wont have to do as much.I will give you this one.
Out of the 11 games he played, they only lost 4.
So, he was definitely helping.
On the flip side, his absence helped Garland improve.
