Ah

Did not know that

And to sign Ayton they’d need to renounce it and give it up.

Nurkic and hart plus that tpe alone is probsbly worth more than Ayton for the next 1-2 years

Long term, trading away dame, I could see signing Ayton and taking sharpe at 7 as the start of something

Yea they're an interesting team this offseason for sure.

Don't see them reading Dame

Rumors flying about Portland trying to get Lu Dort from the Thunder with the Thunder using him and a pick to get Portland’s 7 pick.

Man, I like Dort. Is who they’re eyeing at 7 better than Dort? Or is Dort blocked by another piece OKC likes. I saw a Thybulle rumor with him and I was like why would Dort be a guy they are dealing? He’s the kind of dude you want if you’re doing what they’re doing with a rebuild. That dude is a two way playoffs kind of player. What am I not seeing?

You are seeing it, I think Portland knows he is a more complete player than anything they would get at 7. Dort will get a new contract after next season and he won’t be cheap. The Thunder are going to have some high draft picks to pay and SGAs contract kicks in. It won’t be anytime and they will have to reup Giddey. That’s why they would consider it, but they won’t just do a swap of 7 and 12. I hope they can keep Dort, I see all defensive teams in his future.

Lebron, healthy AD and a 3rd wheel that fits? Yeah, Lebron can get another title if the role players make any sense at all. But Lebron dragging flotsam and jetsom to the playoffs, let alone the finals...those days are over.

Exactly my point, and we won't know what the rest of that roster will look like for a while yet.

You can keep saying that until it's true (re: Tom Brady). You'll be proven right eventually.
It’s already true:
Year 1 no playoffs
Year 2 - 5 month break to get healthy - bubble championship
Year 3 - first round exit after the play in tournament
Year 4 - no playoffs

Father Time is doing his thing.

It will be subpar. Talent isn’t ring chasing with LeBron anymore. The jig is up.

Year 3 and 4 were mostly due to AD injuries, not his own. Unless you're calling Lebron father time, since his collision with AD caused one of those injuries.

Excuse me? You’re the guy who said that any team with LeBron is a contender. If that is true then the AD injury is immaterial. You made the outrageous homer claim. Are you backing off that claim you made the other day?
