Trade a couple players for Clase.

Fuck you.
Clase just signed a 5 year 20 million dollar extension.

Guardians should have one of the best closers in the game for a very inexpensive contract--- that takes him through his arbitration years and buys out a year or two of free agency.

Phenomenal deal.

I can definitively tell you- that the Lakers are not even playing in the same ball park salary wise anymore.

They are gnashing their teeth over the possiblity of taking Joe Harris- who makes 18 million a year for 2 years over Curry's 8 million expiring. They let Caruso go, etc.

the Lakers are not in the same financial ball park as the Clippers or Warriors anymore- they simply wont spend at the Clippers level- let alone the Warriors level.
Made almost 9 mill and played in just 41 games last season. If he's a Laker he doesn't get hurt......really?

Thus guaranteeing the opposite will occur. lol.
Draymond has a 27M player option too.

I have no idea where that will go....my guess he opts out and tries to get something longer term for around the same dollars. 25M just does not go as far as it used to in the NBA anymore. lol.

my point is you are not playing in the same ball park salary wise as the Clippers or Warriors anymore and there is plenty of data and evidence to back that up. And again - what did you KNOW he was going to get hurt when you let him go?

they were like---hmmmm....we know he is going to get cheap shotted and miss 41 games- so - no dice! LOL. cmon Dj.

Thomas Bryant to sign a one year deal with the Lakers per Chris Haynes

Late night BOMBSHELL

For real though, for the min, this is a nice pick up. I liked him the first time around and was pissed they didn't keep him around. He's shown some decent development in Washington the times he wasn't injured. He's capable of being a solid rotational center

Jacoby Brissett as your starting QB......for not just 6-8 games but the entire season.

def. better than anyone they had last year....but def. doesnt move the needle.

Kyrie moves the needle.

Plus- I think Kyrie is due a slice of humble pie. Just going back to ride LeBron's jock after purposefully getting away from him is a huge blow to his ego. I think he would be in the right mindset- he is in a contract and would be motivated and on his best behavior.

LeBron/Kyrie/Davis can win a championship if they are healthy and on the same page and Durant doesnt end up on the Suns or Warriors.

now- obviously a big "if"- Davis, LeBron and Kyrie all healthy and on the same page.....chances all 3 are healthy and sane seem long- but its by far the best shot they got- and its a real shot- not pie in the sky.

anything less than Kyrie- and I dont think a LeBron/Davis tandem with the supporting roster they have can come close to getting it done.

wanna bet? I bet the suspension is between 6 on the lowside and 10 on the high side.

Browns schedule to start the year is incredibly easy.

Plus- going forward they have Watson free and clear- the guy is only 26 YEARS OLD. Carr is already 31.

take the 8 game hit and then have one of the best in the league with a very good roster for years to come. Sounds like a plan to me.

He has played 4 games in 2 seasons.

No wonder you're not an NBA GM.
Thomas Bryant has played 170 games in 5 years.

37 in two years.

He's played 50 games or more once in his career.

Great pickup for the minimum.

But, he's not exactly an ironman.
