So as of today our tier one needs for 22 are
QB DT Edge

Tier 2
LB CB OT

Is the draft next week? ;)

If I were to do a 2022 mock right now. I would give Denver a RT but I am guessing we address it in FA.. Paton seems to do well at addressing our biggest needs in FA then that sets up the draft for BPA.

NFL Free Agency is for needs, NFL Draft is for BPA.

I am hoping Calvin Anderson wins the RT position and makes it a luxury rather then a need.

OLB maybe a high need depending on what we do with Von and how Browning plays. ILB could be a position too depending on what happens in the next 9 months. S and or CB could be options as several guys may leave next year.

On the offensive side of the ball there are 2 positions that currently stand out as possibilities, QB and RT.

I will be pretty surprised yet happy if Anderson wins the starting job. Good dude just not convinced we want him starting but if he takes that leap and plays well it would be an awesome thing to see. He has basically been on our roster all of the last two years and been inactive most of those..There is something we/Elway likes with him that is for sure... But the fact in two years he hasn't seen much of the field when we have been pretty weak for OL depth it is a smidge concerning to me but it is go time for him if he ever is going to carve out a significant role here.

I thought I read somewhere that Anderson was a Munchak pick.

Anderson is a Munchak project -for sure.

What @Draft Crazy mentioned - that Anderson was often passed for snaps by Wilkerson - has always been a head scratcher for me - since you would often read that Anderson was held in high regard by Munch. So we won't know until we know - I guess. It is interesting to me that the Broncos are trying out some real OT leftovers for the J. James's spot.

I really expected and still expect a vet. Wonder what the deal is with Dennis Kelly.

I'm sure the OT market will be a lot better after 6/1 - and this year's salary cap victims are cut loose. It follows like spring to summer - when a bunch of OT's get drafted high - a bunch of over priced veterans get their walking papers.

Apparently you forgot what living in Colorado looks like. We have winter following spring. Well, maybe we don’t ever really have spring, other than what the calendar says.

When you don't like the weather in Colorado - wait 5 minutes it will change.
