We wound up sucking less as we had more points last season than the season before. Maybe if we keep it at sucking less the trend will continue.

From the Athletic:

I would be shocked to see Ian Laperriere lose his job as Lehigh Valley Phantoms head coach. For starters, he did significantly improve in the job from Year 1 to Year 2. Second, the front office by all accounts was impressed by the development of players like Cam York, Tyson Foerster and Elliot Desnoyers in particular down in the minors under Laperriere. And third, the elevation of Briere can only help Laperriere’s job security. Don’t forget that they were Flyers teammates in 2009-10. There’s a clear connection there.I just can’t see Briere pushing to remove a friend who did seem to take a measurable step forward from a coaching standpoint in 2022-23.

It's a load of shit article, on a good team Hayes is a 3 c at best. He never sees the time of ice he does on a good team. He only sees those minutes because of all this teams struggles. Could he add value to a good team, yes. Is he an over whelming force on a good team? No.

Looks like the Avs may be done, by not having their whole second line and Landeskog being out seems to be a little to much to overcome.

The Kraken were smart enough not to take Big Puss for free so we know they are pretty smart and they have Hackstol.

Also Gruebuaer(sp) is healthy to. Not making excuses but I didn't realize until last night how much talent they are missing.

Anyone wanna bet against Tampa overcoming the 1-3 deficit to beat the Leafs? They need to win two more yet to complete the comeback, but I sure as hell won't...Lol

The carnage in Toronto would be something to witness. I kinda want the Leafs to get it together because I think they play exciting hockey. But the more chaos there is in the league the more opportunities Danny B has to make changes.

The move JvR tries a lot works when you did it with speed! Cool goal from pasta.
