Wow. Huge win tonight. Nice to finally win a skills competition via goals by Frosty and JvR, plus some clutch stops by Hart, who literally made McDavid look bad on his shootout attempt.

Apparently Noah Cates + Carter Hart > Connor McDavid (who is still on pace for 148 points).

When we see our boys execute like this against red hot teams with elite level superstars, it really makes you wonder what we could become.

Great win but I am calling out Torts for the strategy of not trying to win in OT and get to a shoot out with McDavid and Draisaitl on the other team. No way we can win in OT with 2 dmen and 1 forward, especially when one is Risto.

Well, now is the time to sell high on Kevin Hayes. He makes the All-Star team and has 7 goals in his last 10 games. Dude was probably an inch or two shy of scoring the game-winner on a breakaway today as well, in addition to his other breakaway goal.

It perhaps sounds harsh, but if we don't think Hayes is worth $7.143 million for three more seasons, he should be ditched within the next three weeks.

Yeah, we need Sean Couturier back and at 100%, for fuck sake. It's been a year and 2 months since he's played a game for us and even then, he was clearly hurt.

I understand that they are not rushing him and making sure everything heals properly. That's fine. Why the fuck didn't we do that the first time? How many times can we fuck this up!?! Lol It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm laughing to avoid crying, essentially.

Before last season, this dude had a 10 year career going, during which he played in 91% of his games. Suddenly he's missed (or been playing injured) for nearly two whole seasons back to back....pardon the pun...due to this "back" issue.

Sonsabitches in the FO piss me off so bad sometimes I go to my garage that has a small free weights gym and I throw weights around for about an hour and a half to just get the anger and rage out if my system until the next time this FO does something incredibly stupid!!

Tough game today. It was exciting at the end as we nearly overcame a 2-4 deficit while shorthanded and just about sent another game to overtime. We really, desperately need Konecny to regain his form so that we have a legit, top line scorer. Regardless, it took several desperation blocks by Seattle in the closing seconds to hang onto this game 3-4.

I don't want to hang this one on Sandstrom, but I bet Carter Hart doesn't allow 4 in this same game.

Either way, this team never gives up and that is definitely much appreciated. You would absolutely go to war with guys like Laughton, Seeler, Cates and Deslauriers. They are relentless and I love that.

Well, perhaps Daniel Briere will be the new GM soon. It seems that he's being groomed for the position. Let's just make that happen this summer.

Yup. 24th by points percentage. Really looks like a little tier there with the Blues/Sens. Barring a pretty serious streak one way or the other for someone, looks like the Flyers will end up somewhere between 8-10th best odds in the lottery.

God wouldn't that be something? To have a player on this squad who can actually move and skate well. If we had a couple of those guys we could actually skate it out of our own end at times! J/k but yeah I like his profile, I'd really like to see some of these other upandcomers before seasons end, see if anyone stands out.
