Yep.The way Rob did it was pretty smart too, imo.
He moved Nunn, one of the 2nd round picks is from the Bulls and another is a pick swap. If I remember correctly, 2 of them are a few years from now.
Typical TLF take.Lakers can't go wrong - He may end up being more productive than Davis who seems to be unable to stay on the court more than a few games
Utah should trade Clarkson, he is older.Hang onto him for now. They have too many other pieces to trade
Including clarkson, who plays a similar role
I do.But then they'd still have Nunn and DJ probably needs the roughage.
Who told you they were the real deal and different than past Kings teams earlier this season and you didn't believe that person?I have always treated them as an after thought figuring they would fade.
Still think they are a first round matchup a veteran team like GS or either LA team would want.
But it is time to start taking them seriously.
Yep.Sac had a real nice squad. Great PG. Great C. Shooters everywhere. Every-where lol
The trade worked for both the Kings and Pacers. No Ja or Adams.
But, you play who ever is in front of you,
Lyles has been very good for them.
Sabonis is a STUD.

They still need something before making a deep run in the playoffs but they should be able to give some team a tough 1st round matchup.

This is what @The Q was talking about when he said the Lakers will operate as an over the cap team.
This is a really good breakdown by Keith.
If they can get Rui @ a low starting salary, they can still add a decent player.

Lakers Make Low-Risk Gamble On Rui Hachimura
The Lakers have acquired Rui Hachimura from the Wizards in exchange for Kendrick Nunn & picks. What does this mean financially for each team?www.spotrac.com
5 point guards?
Russ isn’t signing very cheaply, he has shown he still has value.Of course, but it all depends on what other moves they make and their intentions with Russ. If they want to bring back Russ at a reduced rate, there is no cap space to speak of until he signs and only if he signs very cheaply.

5 guards. Try to name 5 PGs on the Lakers roster...

Agree, but if he is given a choice to go somewhere where he can run wild that is what he will do.I agree he isn’t signing cheap.
But in all honesty he should.
He can either be a stats guy maximizing his contracts on a mediocre team, or he can be the type of cheap vet that helps a contender get over the top.
One of those choices maybe helps him change his legacy for the better, the other pretty much cements it.
Gonna say yes. He's a big difference maker on the defensive end.
It is a tough question
He is a good player and a valuable one.
But these teams start getting themselves into serious cap he’ll when they are paying their role players what they are actually worth.
