I think a lot of Quizno's are closed. We used to have one here, but it was replaced by Coldstone several years ago.
We still have them here.

Coldstone....ice cream?

They dance when they make your dessert here.

It's preposterous.

Just give me my shit so I can go.

I am boycotting them until they bring back the meatball. How can you be a sub shop and not have a meatball?

lol

Never noticed that. But I don't order meatball sandwiches from sub shops. Too soggy by the time I get them home.

Agreed on all counts, just saying it might make sense to allow homegrown guys to get paid more.

I don't disagree. I'm actually in favor of paying homegrown guys more, or at least having to pay less tax on them so a team can add more/better pieces.

Just playing Devil's advocate because you know some of that argument is going to be used by the destination franchises.

I have Jersey Mikes Subs on the way.

Quiznoes or gtfo
A little bit of me is dying inside for you people. When I want a great sandwich I have about 5-6 options of mom and pop real sandwich shops. You guys have to settle for second rate. Those franchises open and close up here because they can’t compete with the local pizza place sandwich shop and what they serve.

Diabetes, morbid obesity, HBP, enlarged heart, arterial block, intestinal obstruction....

Could be any of those with his diet.

Didn’t you just get back from Coldstone?

Its worth it if you are winning.

And also fwiw.....Looney is a homegrown Dub too.
He's been a vital component of their machine...and mostly an unsung one.
They likely wouldn't have won their last 2 chips w/o him.

Gives teams like the Cavs, Memphis, OKC the ability to keep homegrown talent.

The bill will come due for the Cavs when Mobley and Mitchell have to be paid.

Levert even earlier.

Memphis gonna have to take care of Bane, Clarke and Brooks soon. Doubt they keep JJJ on such a team friendly deal next time as well.

It's worth it to the Dubs because they have a handful of rings.

Ballmer can find the Clippers tax money in the bottom of his gym bag.

But, even for him....

If the Clippers don't make the finals, I don't see him paying for this same roster next year.

And I'm borderline diabetic.....not full on diabetic.

It's why I cut back on the Twisted Teas but still love my carbs so yeah.....I'm probably fucked over in the next 12 years or so.

Yeah, my absolute favorite sandwich shop is about an hour round trip. They only have 2 locations. Their sandwiches are amazing.

The only other choices nearby are Subway (which I don't eat ever) and a Mom and Pop place that somehow manages to be worse than Subway and remain in business.

The Lakers will win at least 47-48 games.

There I said it, I exposed the elephant in the room.

When I'm back home, I go to the Hat.

Best pastrami sandwich EVER.

There's a The Hat about 40 minutes from me. One of the daughters used to live in the same city and I would go there when I would babysit the grandsons.

Used to get the pastrami...

Then I discovered their wet fries. lol
