Yeah and not playing just because
Won't help with guys like Kawhi who have a documented history of injuries.

They already tried to address that.

Also opens the door to penalize a team who sits a healthy player all year to tank.

I have to think there are multiple owners wanting to address the issues Irving and Simmons created though.

LOL...the owners of teams in glamor cities didn't "pick a better location". Those cities themselves have advantages. I think you're kidding here but not sure.

But guess what? On your analogy the rent is higher in better store locations.

Sure they did. They chose to buy a team located in a better location.

Additionally, as we have seen in recent years, ownership and their willingness to spend has as much or more to do with a teams success than their location.

Your Warriors and the Cavs have shown that an owner who's willing to spend can completely change a franchise. Heck, the Clippers managed to be a non-destination franchise in a destination city until Ballmer bought them.

Oh, definitely.

More Kyrie, less Ben because of the optics.

As long as you don't say a guy is healthy, you can sit them using a bulls it term like injury maintenance.

You just can't say for rest.

As for Ben....

I have a feeling we might actually see it more.

It is one of the things that will likely be added to the CBA along with letting high school.graduates in.

“In what would be an unprecedented and progressive change for American pro sports, the NBA and NBPA are discussing measures to allow players to cite mental health issues as an ailment similar to physical injury, per sources with knowledge of the talks.

And the NBA would be the league to bend over and take it

Mental issues is going to be a tough one, imo.

On one hand, mental issues can be more debilitating than physical ones.

On the other, they are also easier to fake.

My wife already has my obituary typed up.

He liked to drink and he loved to eat. And he had a heart of gold.

The end.

Draymonds punch added an extra 10m to the deal for sure.

Draymond's punch also made it more urgent to get this deal done. The only way that Poole accepts having Draymond around is if he is making more than him. Doing this extension right now is important for team chemistry.

Again in fairness.....coffee for breakfast.

Lunch and dinner are the only meals I eat and not a big snacker.

I have Jersey Mikes Subs on the way.

We have to mentally prepare ourselves, no pun intended.

Because, it's going to happen.

I have stated repeatedly that I don't believe Ben Simmons.

But, I believe Paul George, Kevin Love, Demar Derozan.

There are enough legit examples that you kinda have to grin and bear it when you suspect one player is being disingenuous.

Mental Health is not measurable like a torn ligament, broken bone.

So, you can't really disprove it.

I just don’t ever remember Metta missing a game due to mental health and we know he had real issues. Maybe he did.

I am boycotting them until they bring back the meatball. How can you be a sub shop and not have a meatball?

Agreed on all counts, just saying it might make sense to allow homegrown guys to get paid more.
