Barrett's more of a wing than a guard. They'd be better served staying with Brunson and Quickley for sure but the Knicks (mostly Dolan) do love chasing "stars". They've been more responsible with Leon Rose running things but I could see Dolan overruling him just to take the flyer. Plus, the Knicks do need some kind of boost to get out of the play in. I could see a scenario where they talk themselves into Russ being a 6 man on a min deal rental being enough to push them into the Top 6

My 3 was Brunson, Quickley and Rose. Rose could be on the move tho...

In the end it’s his decision though. None of us are there, we don’t know anywhere close to everything I’m sure. It is what it is.

And because of how he handled things, it's being said that other teams aren't going to want to do business with the Nets. Not only because of the petty way he dealt with Kyrie...but also that he negotiated in bad faith to do it.

My guess based on what Woj said is the original 3 teamer only had 1 Lakers FRP going out. My guess is Minny is trying to hold out and get that other Lakers pick in exchange for D'lo. Maybe it'll get talked down to more 2nds but if Lakers can get the Utah deal done (Conley/Beasley/Vanderbilt) for just 1 FRP, I'm sure they'll just pull out of the Minny deal
