Oh, I agree.

Listen, they aren’t that far off from being a legit threat.

Wing defender, solid shooter and they are in business.

As currently constructed, they are 50/50 to even make the playin.

Other teams are getting healthy and will start pulling away.

I don’t understand how they can waste His record breaking Season when there are moves they can make to improve.

This team has not sniffed .500 since game 1 of the NBA Season.

That’s so gross.

The Kyrie non-trade has nothing to do with standing up to Lebron. Can't trade with an unwilling partner.

I read a story not sure if it was true or not, that after the year the Cavs won the Championship he was mad about something and didn't participate or talk to anyone on the team for the entire season. So even in his "sane" years he was still kinda crazy.
Jason Lloyd reported this.....not sure about entire season but for sure was weeks.

The Lakers are incredibly lucky the West is so open.

What is it, like four games between 4th seed and 13th?

They have to act RIGHT FUCKING NOW though.

That's true. But from what has been reported, there are plenty of teams willing to take Westbrook if a future 1st was attached to it.

Rob Pelinka better be working his ass off right now. No excuses.

Do you anticipate a big deal or a fringe move?

Clippers are trying to get a pg and a big.

They desperately need both.

Zu is breaking down.

Wall is on bricks.

George is not the answer.

I would love to see a Russ trade for 2-3 pieces and a Bev/Walker trade for another; PG, 3/D SG and SF, maybe a backup big. In fact, anyone that is not easily re-signed this summer should be at least considered to trade. Lakers need Bird rights in these trades, if not additional years already on the books.

Okoro starting to play some good ball...........kids just turned 22 last week. I would not give up on him too early unless they can get like a Josh Hart.
Okoro in a deal for Josh Hart? No chance. Kid is shooting 58% overall and 50% from 3 since 2023 began. Seems like the light went on......and playing solid D on opponent best wing (or PG).

In a package for a stud SF? Sure.

He's been in contact with these teams all along from what I can tell. Whether or not he can get the deals done is another thing...

Ainge will be a pain to deal with. Spurs and especially the Hornets are probably their best bets. Bev/Walker/2 2nds hopefully can add a Hield or Trent Jr to those deals.

Yup.

This doesn’t help.

Multiple league sources who were granted anonymity so they could speak freely tell The Athletic that the Jazz have had at least one trade call with every team in the league. And with many of those teams, there have been multiple trade calls. According to these sources, the Jazz have multiple offers on the table for more than one of their veterans, with a robust market for forward Jarred Vanderbilt, shooting guard Malik Beasley and point guard Mike Conley. There has been general interest in shooting guard Jordan Clarkson, although teams are wary of his impending unrestricted free agency. Kelly Olynyk has garnered interest on the market as well.

….that we know of.

I am suspicious of the Raptors.

They look like sellers.

But, could pull a Clippers when we landed Norm and RoCo.

Would take FVV and Trent (and Boucher?) in a heartbeat. I know we can't get OG...

Who said anything about Kyrie?

Calm down, My Guy…lol

Lebron has been applying pressure about trading the picks well before Kyrie’s 2nd trade request.

Hield would be amazing. I don't give a damn what they need to give them in return.

Rozier from the Hornets has been mentioned too but would most likely need to take on the Hayward contract in return as well.

Yep.

The deadline being Thursday will expedite the situation.

But, the Lakers have to stop losing conference games.

Another issue?

They are 1-9 in the division.

It won’t be enough to catch the Clippers, Kings, Dubs,Suns.

You have to pass them because you don’t own the head to head against any of them.

Clippers are getting healthy.

Sabonis is playing thru the hand injury….

CP3, Johnson are back and Book is on the way….

All of these teams are also looking to make a move.

Dubs are the only team with a injury worry.

You also have OKC to worry about.

Nobody told them they aren’t a playoff team.

It's been eerily quiet from the Lakers though.

Something feels.... off. Or strange.

Is this the time all us fans are expecting disappointment and Pelinka pulls off a Wenyen Gabriel for Kevin Durant trade or some shit?

I'm willing to take on Hayward if that gets Russ gone (and other options are out). If nothing else, he's an expiring next season.

Nah, there's a lot of competition for some of these guys. Unless someone overpays, most of the action will be later this week.

They need to stop losing games in general. They have been really close though, which is another worry for me whether they won or lost.

I really want to see a blow out. They need one just for the confidence boost.
