Kinda thinking KD might be the safest bet of players on the Nets to NOT be traded, of course Claxton too. I’m not sure what you can get for Simmons…
They will roll with him this season and possibly address trading him in the offseason IMO.

I feel like the Nets are the team you control in franchise mode in 2K. Every year making blockbuster trades and changing the team around bc it won’t work but in the end…you just aren’t that good at the game

I don’t agree with your position on a few points in your posts on the last few pages.

But, gotta concede on this…

Nets could have called his bluff.

But, would it have been worth it to deal with his shit again next year too?

Probably not.

Yet, you were correct, they could have.

Damn the nets had leverage in calling his bluff too

You are right moving on from him was smart, but which move would had been more alpha. Not like the nets ever win anyways, so the wrong move may have been the better move for them lol

Kyrie and Durant were likely the best option for the nets to ever win a championship...Possibly ever

They aren't interested in signing him to a 4 year deal. No one is. He wouldn't sign the 2 year extension that could have sealed the deal.

In order for the Lakers to be able to trade for him, Westbrook had to be moved. To do that, and get Kyrie, the Lakers would have to include 2 firsts.

You don't give up that much for a 3 month rental. Especially when you already know that you don't intend to give him what he is demanding.

What the Mavs gave up is okay for a possible 3 month rental. Especially when your franchise has never been able to land max level FAs.

Yea he is kinda a psycho lol Not sure why he wouldn't sign a 2 year deal, plus likely would have rehabilitated his image playing next to Lebron.

Crazy, but one of the best 2nd options on a championship team

Yup. And not hoping that a mentally erratic person will behave and not cause a ton of pointless drama.

That mentally erratic person gives them upside to contend.

Brunson would have made them a 2nd round ceiling team
