It doesn’t even need to be radical.

Just maybe a shooter with some size.

The guy in Detroit fits the bill.

But, I get that the Lakers are hesitant to part with the draft capital.

I don’t agree with it.

But, I can see where they are coming from.

The West is kinda mediocre right now.

Clippers, Kings, Dubs, Dallas, Blazers are all vulnerable.

Would not take a huge move for the Lakers to leap them all.
Burks won't command a 1st. Bev to match salaries and they cut him. Plus a few 2nd rounders.

Yeah....not gonna take much to leapfrog those teams. Especially if AD returns in the next week or 2.

Lakers look like a lock to come out of the West

He’s 6’6.

That’s better than 6’4.

But, with it looking like Clarkson will be staying put, other teams are looking at Burks.

I see the Clippers losing 7 of the next 10.

The Lakers could move up quickly with the right trade.
DAL, PHI, HOU, SAC, MEM, POR, LAC, SAS, BOS, BKN are the next 10 for LA but AD could be back this week but probably next week at some point. My guess. Winnable games in that stretch but not the easiest

Turn Nunn and Jones with some seconds into oubre.

Use Russ to land Conley....

You just turned your roster around pretty quickly.

Oubre injured his hand.

Dude is out after having surgery.

Saw some Oubre to the Cavs rumors recently.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, and Toronto Raptors reportedly had interest in trading for Kelly Oubre Jr. prior to Oubre's hand injury, sources told Marc Stein of Substack.

Oubre is set to be out for 4-6 weeks after undergoing surgery on a torn ligament in his left hand.

Oubre is in the final year of a two-year, $26 million deal with the Hornets.

It's feeling like "paralysis by analysis" at this point.

If they're that dead set on keeping both of those firsts...fine. Like you said, I get it.

But there are plenty of deals out there that could improve the team without giving them up. Reddish and Burks are just a couple of them.

I wonder what it would take to get Trent Jr.?

Obviously, Nunn and Bev would need to be gone.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein (subscription required), the Raptors are unlikely to trade some of their foundational pieces, adding further credence to reports of an astronomical price tag being placed on Anunoby and Pascal Siakam. Stein did confirm that one of the team’s starters is definitely available.

Stein said that Gary Trent Jr. is the only player he is aware of that Toronto has definitely made available in trade talks. Considering that both he and VanVleet could hit free agency after the season, the idea of Ujiri replicating the Norman Powell trade and getting a younger player in return could appeal to him.

Missing 4 of 5 starters and only 8 available players.

Not sure why you think you can get away with resting Jimmy for 4+minutes to start the 4th.

Just stupid

Hey, you see all the shit with Porter?

Even if you kept them, Payton nor Porter would be helping you on the court much this year.

Yeah they got lucky on those injuries but we don't know if they happen if they stayed.

That said, they were really useful last year.

Gabe Vincent been the most disappointing player on Miami this year.

At least Strus been looking like the last year version of himself as of recently
