A disgusting 21-20 first half for Miami.

Boston was 20-21 at the break last season. Ended 31-10.

Not expecting that but a 26+ win 2nd half is mandatory

You play in the tougher conference.

The East is harder.

I still don’t buy the Knicks being good or the Raps being this bad.

But, if they keep Turner, Indy looks like a playoff team.

Outside of them, who are you passing?

Unless Embiid or Durant misses a bunch of time, 6th seed for the Heat…imo

Yeah i said it a few weeks ago barring the injury bug hitting philly or Cleveland, 6th looks like regular season ceiling for this squad. Exactly why the first half is important and you need to stay close enough to at least the 4 seed.

Lose to the bulls 2x at home, lose to the pistons at home, and lose to the lakers without Bron or AD. That alone is 5 unacceptable losses and this is off the top of my head without actually going through the results. Win 4 of those 5 and 25-16 sounds a whole lot better than 21-20.

25-16 leaves you with a real solid chance at HCA in round 1.

Harden has a lot of miles on him too. You can get by if his defense is bad- at some point it is going to become non-existent though which makes it tougher. Harden has lost some of his athleticism.

Gonna be 6 straight loses for the Clippers and Suns.
