The Lakers need to trade Nunn and Pat Bev to the South Bay Lakers for Max Christie.

The long term prospects for this Cavs team are just incredible.

Mitchell/Mobley/Garland and Allen is just awesome.

With Love and LeVert coming off the books they even have cap room if they want in the offseason to spend.

They have done a very nice job developing 2nd rounders or FA's like Wade, Stevens, Osman. They have done a great job resurrecting Love's career and handling him.

The coach is a solid coach. The chemistry is great- and the core should be here a long long time. As long as management does the right things on the periphery of this roster, there is no reason they cannot compete for a title sometime in the next 2-3 years.

Even Mitchell is only 26- usually guys do not hit the top of their primes till 27-28 years old. Mobley is just going to get better. Garland will get better. Mitchell should only get more confident.

Helluva nice rebuild and pretty quickly done. I dont know many rosters- if any I would trade for this Cavs roster with a look towards the next 2-3 years.

I am now confident in saying the Cavs are somewhere between the 3rd and 6th best team in the East.

Boston and Milwaukee are better this year.

The Sixers, Nets have a lot of talent also.

I would feel like the Cavs should win a playoff series vs. the Heat, Nets, Knicks, Raptors------ though all of those teams besides the Knicks would def. have a chance.

Long term- only the Celtics are a team that I think has a ceiling like the Cavs- and by long term I mean over the next 2-3 years. Middleton is a FA at the end of the year, and Holliday is getting up there. They still have Giannis though who is just a MONSTER. The Heat, Nets and Sixers (unless they reload somehow without much cap room or picks which is not impossible) seem like it would be hard for them to substantively improve going forward.

Theyve done an incredible job. No question.

They're going to need to smartly use their MLE and seconds to find those key role players and backups.

Plus figure out what to pay Love and Cedi vs. going into the tax or not using the MLE.

Hard to disagree with any of this.

Turning those picks they do have into role players (like Philly did to steal Melton) is probably their best path.

But with their tax issues looming, using them to find guys (aka the spurs model, they had their run and rarely traded their firsts) could be another option.

Selling off Levert could be a fun option. Hurts in the short term but better than letting him walk when you are out 2 picks for him anyway.

man, falling apart last year turned out to be the best thing for Indy and was a brutal loss for Indy.

Luka was playing international ball all summer but now can't play b2b? @thunderc these are the situations that bother me. You CHOSE to play international ball in the summer instead of resting and now you can't play b2b?
