I've gotten used to MLB pitchers pitching a shutdown in the 5th being pulled because of pitch count or whatever excuse they give.

I hate that too. I've seen the Dodgers have that crap blow up in their face way too many times, especially in the playoffs.

So far he played in 1 and missed 2. Let's see if he play the B2B this Sunday and Monday

In all honesty, I mostly agree with @thunderc on this issue.

Where we differ is that I don’t blame Silver.

People are missing the very obvious solution to this problem….

All owners have to do is say…stop sitting guys for rest or find another job.

They aren’t doing that because they are complicit.

Doesnt matter if it’s tanking or sitting guys for rest.

They are trying to game this championship or bust system.

Think about it….

If the Clippers win a ring this year and Kawhi only plays 30 games a Season until his contract ends, while Ballmer think it was worth it?

Will all 7 of us Clippers fans on the planet think it was worth it?

Fuck yes.

Because, it’s the goddamn Clippers.
