Totally agree. The amount of games just blend in the background. People have so many more options for entertainment there aren't many watching each game.

Like I said I'm good with teams using it strategically. I'd probably prefer they do it moreso in a way where the whole team isn't out though but I also understand you're basically punting a game for the better good.

And that is my point.

I don’t think they ever will reduce the schedule.

But I also won’t ever complain about players sitting.

I still will when they take it to a Kawhi extreme. But as long as it is reasonable I'm good with it.

Yeah, I don't think anyone has an issue with some targeted games here and there that a player sits out for rest. Especially older players. Regardless of the sport, if you're a playoff caliber team, part of the goal is to go into the playoffs as healthy as possible.

But it gets very frustrating for fans when they don't know a player is going to sit out, buy tickets and then learn it's someone's "load management" game.

Obviously, there are no guarantees. A player can end up getting injured in a previous game causing them to sit out, but I think most fans understand that can happen.

With Kawhi's situation, some transparency would be nice. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to when he plays. It seems like he plays a game or 2, then sits out for 6-10. That's not fair to fans, imo.

I get it about back to backs. We all want more time off work. lol

But there's a point where you just have to accept that you either have to put up with some things you don't like or accept less money.
They are in the process of killing the golden goose, it will happen. Teams will address it when finances get bad enough.

There is only 1 fix.

Eliminate back to backs.

That is on the league, not the organizations

I curious how much longer the regular seaosn would need to be to have zero back to backs. I doubt it’s really that much.

Please let that man sit.

He’s been absolutely atrocious outside that one game winner.

We are better when RoCo plays.

Things I thought I’d never read…

Sports are wild

Some locals get more venue traffic than others.

Lakers and Clippers have to go on a long road trip every year to accommodate the Grammys.

New York probably does something similar for Taylor Swift concerts cause that shits a zoo.

Still, shouldn’t extend it by what…..a month or two?

I would prefer we just ban Taylor swift concerts

It’s sad to watch him struggle.

Seriously, they are better giving RoCo, Coffee, Mann those minutes.

Trade him to Utah.

Danny would happily buy and rehab a distressed asset to flip later
