Nick Nurse to the Sixers.
I’m pleased. Honestly, I was just hoping it wasn’t D’Antoni. First evidence I’ve seen this off season that Harden isn’t call the shots.

At this point, if they want to bring D’Antoni in to help Harden”swallow” 3 years 100 million I’d be ok with it.Would be incredibly dumb to have picked D’Antoni.
Harden could be gone anyway.
I can see some similarities between the two. Like the WWE has a bunch of jackasses and the NBA has Kyrie, KD, Dillion Brooks and the Lakers just to name a few.
It’s basically like CLE trading Lebron when he was drafted. Untouchable. 0% chance SA would trade him
@The Q
The size of this kid.
I saw a few sites listing him as 7’2.
He has to be closer to 7’4 or 7’5 in shoes.
If I had to guess I'd say there's more than a 90% chance he pursues other business interests. He has such a great working relationship with all the main vets on the team that I doubt he leaves that to just go to another team. He can pretty much get a bag in whatever industry he wants right now.Fairly expected at this point. What's more unclear is what's next. Some think he just wants to go to another team but there's also a strong belief he wants to do some stuff outside of basketball
I wonder that myself. The body type thing can be a problem, that tall, that skinny. You knew LeBron's body would be resilient just looking at him.Had they turned down some huge offer, that might look really bad in retrospect. He didn't win in his first Cleveland stint. Who knows?
I'm not sold that Vic is as sure of a thing as Lebron was personally.

But it's not a lock either way he definitely can be that great, but he may "just" be a KG/KD level guy.
That's why I put 'just' in quotesSure, but I'm not sure "just" should be included when saying he could be a KG/KD level guy. That's huge on it's own and a serious projection beyond what he's done to date (which of course isn't much yet at his age). He's earned that top prospect status, but the hype train is amazing...
It's just hard to give up on the best possible player you could hope to draft. These types only come along once every 20 yearsI just hesitate when people say he is untradeable. I'm not sure what kind of offer could be put together by anyone, but a lot of factors come into play. A big one is how far away from competing is his team and will he re-sign in that city, especially if they are slow to build to contender status? The Spurs have the coach and recent (enough) success, but they don't really have much on that roster today. Plenty of cap space, but to get who? Is it beneficial, or ultimately a ding to the franchise if they can't win with him and he moves on?
Those once every 20 year guys can also become Ben Simmons.That's why I put 'just' in quotes

Simmons didn't have nearly the hype of LeBron or Wem. Neither did Zion.Those once every 20 year guys can also become Ben Simmons.
