He isn’t exactly the guy you want to bring in to mentor young guards.

He will take the ball out of their hands and hinder their development while taking them to strip clubs in every city.

Downside just way worse than the upside here.

Sounding like he fits in with Houston even more now, lol. Not sure a lot of "learning to win" has been going on...

True. He was okay when he was here. but he didn't really make much of a difference.

There were at least 2 or 3 playoff games that the Lakers would have lost if they didn't have Rui.

And Rui plays defense.

Yep, having Carmelo more for me would've been sooner. Plus, it would've been a personal thing as I'm a fan since Syracuse, not so much as a need for the Lakers. I love it whenever a Syracuse player finds his way onto the roster. I'm hoping Swider is back next season, even if he was only a 5th year transfer with Syracuse lol. I wouldn't mind Rochester kid Thomas Bryant coming back in free agency as C depth either, but I doubt that one has a chance...

Rui is a solid bench player on a title team. IMO.

who you trade beasley and that 29 first for should probably replace him in the starting lineup.

You do need to find some beef in FA to guard big centers like Jokic so Brow doesn't have to.

Both of your "PGs" are really combo guards, so a more pure distributor would be nice as well. But with only the MLE available, not sure who youll get there.

Yep. Needed a Dwight. AD can guard Joker, but the Lakers defense is at it's best when he is free to roam and protect the rim.

NBA commissioner weasel trash Adam Silver, whom suspended Morant for eight games over the first video, said on ESPN’s Draft Lottery broadcast that he was “shocked” and "cumming hard" that the league was investigating the newest incident.

The commissioner's boyfriend also said he was “assuming the worst,” and the Grizzlies have suspended Morant from all team activities.

A trade for Rozier would have been nice. It was talked about some around the trade deadline
