Not rigged but I feel for ya. Been there, but we've also had our share of luck.

starting to agree with the many who are saying maybe shouldn't require blind luck as a way to get a franchise altering player.

I get discouraging tanking...I really do. But yea...when the same franchise gets screwed 3 lottos out of 4 it gets pretty frustrating.

Not seeing Sam Cassell now in any of the odds going around Twitter. Look at how D’Antoni has jumped. Leak is out and D’Antoni will be the guy.

Sixers tanked for 5 years and only got the first pick once. Houston has been tanking for the same time period and still haven’t finished one.

They do need another big off the bench. Wade and Stevens are both small PF's. They have no bench bigs.

They need to prioritize shooting and a wing over everything.
We need a shooter and a solid backup big. If the big can shoot all the better. Obviously, a stud SF would be great but I think we could make it work with the shooter and big if the big can shoot a little.

All that said other than maybe Mobley I wouldn't call anyone untouchable in the right deal.

Yep. As mentioned I get it as we were a bottom 2 team and got the 5th pick 2 years in a row (in the Zion and Edwards/Ball drafts). Came out of one OK with Garland and, sure, the franchise altering lotto wins of Lebron and Kyrie make it hard to complain.

Your win was nice but Cade alone doesn't seem like that type of player so Detroit has really gotten the short end.

Not sure how to change it though. Maybe go back to where it was before the recent change?

@thunderc i have a trade proposal for you:
OKC gets -
Joel Embiid
Furkan Korkmaz
Sixers get -
Jalen Williams (the one that made All Rookie)
Josh Giddey
Lu Dort
Dario Saric
6 1st round picks that’s a mix and match of OKC’s own picks (about 3) and various 1st rounders they own from other teams.

Big 3 of Embiid SGA and Chet plus whatever they can bring in this draft plus future drafts to enhance. They may be able to bring in another FA like Middleton to help round out the group.

Sixers get a new young core, let Morey and Harden walk, hold on to Harris for 39 million of cap relief and are now able to spend money on a FA next summer.

You in?
Hell no…lol

Well, for OKC.

Clippers would have done it without blinking.

*sobs quietly *

This is your time to shine Koby. Give up Jarrett Allen and Okoro or LeVert for the 3rd pick. Draft Miller and you got your wing. Someone can acquire Nurkic in a 3-team deal

Really, really doubt the Blazers fall for that.

Lakers bottomed out for 4 years post Kobe and didn't get the first pick, but can't complain with 3 consecutive 2s (7,2,2,2).

Haven't had the #1 pick since 1982 (Worthy, pick via trade from Cleveland) and 1979 (Magic, pick via trade from Utah).

You have to go back to 1958 for a Lakers #1 pick (Baylor) with their own pick, although technically the second player selected (Philadelphia Warriors selected Guy Rodgers from Temple as their territorial pick).

@CitySushi @msgkings322 let me know what Myers wants for Klay. I will talk to Koby about a nice package

LOL. This is a steep over reaction. It's obvious Klay is going to have to take a pay cut because he's making a max contract salary right now. No one, even on the open market, is going to give him a max. So by definition he will have to take a pay cut.

It's just a matter of how much. I would think you can look at Wiggin's current contract with the Warriors. I would think that is a solid figure for Klay. I wouldn't think the Warriors will low ball him, but there's going to be some room for negotiation there.

Wright would be interesting after his success with Nova.
I don’t think he comes out of retirement. Word is he loves TV.

It’s becoming evident now what’s happened to the Sixers. Morey and Harden have essentially pulled a corporate takeover and have usurped the Sixers.

It's unhealthy to worry about it before it actually unfolds. Give yourself a break for a while lol.

I can’t. I’m reading in to Morey’s We Fired Doc press conference now. Sounds like he won’t go with first time head coach.

I’m up for the shitshow. Harden isn’t going anywhere if D’Antoni is the guy
Glad the Cavs fan is up for what will be my sports misery. I guess that’s fair since I’ve laughed at Browns disaster after Browns disaster
