You can have your opinion if you want.

Point being, the 2018 Cavs were nothing special. Would have almost no chance of getting through this year’s East.

Less than 10 percent

It depends on what they do the next couple years. I mean hypothetically if they got to the Finals or won it…would he leave? I’m sure that would have a factor imo
Ummm what?

And fyi Jason Lloyd is one of the worst. Not saying Mitchell doesn’t want to be in NY bc he obviously is a huge Met fan and it was a dream but if the Cavs win…that is a huge factor imo

Sure it does. Where do delusions fit in though?
Read my post. I said hypthetically but it all depends on Mobley and how they improve the roster this year. They had the worst supporting cast in the playoffs

They really aren’t “close”.

Meh, they're close.

They were a very young team in the playoffs for the 1st time and looked like it.

They're not "1 player away" close...but they are close.

Right now, they remind me of when the KD/Westbrook/Harden Thunder first got to the playoffs.

It was obvious that they were experience and a couple of tweaks away as long as their core continued to improve.

A season or 2 more experience and the right off-season tweaks...they'll be solidly in the mix with teams that can come out of the East.

They have two potential redundancies in Mitchell/Garland and Allen/Mobley. They aren’t even close to getting an answer to:
1) Confirm or deny that
2) What would it look like for all 4 of those core pieces to co-exist
3) They also have to deal with who takes over when Bickerstaff inevitably gets fired

Not sure this is a big a deal as the author wants it to be, but it's not sure it's what I want to be reading if I'm a Clippers fan.

Not that what Frank said was wrong, but more that it should be kept "in house".

That's where the tweaks come in. Can guys make adjustments to their game to fit better...or do they need to move someone?

Don't know about a Bickerstaff firing being inevitable. He seems to be doing fine with this group.

Imo, Mobley and Allen can co-exist more readily than Mitchell and Garland. They could likely move Garland in a package that could get them a nice return.

Weird fit with Brunson and Knicks would need to do some serious cap Olympics to make it work

Lebron didn't lose to a single eastern conference team in the 4 years he was there. The 2018 was likely the worst version, but they still knocked out Tatum, Brown and Kyrie...

Yep. Garland for Ingram or something similar would be a good move imo
