Yeah you can. If there are all wings it just shows how important 2-way wings are in this league. Same with PG’s. The goal should be getting the best 5 and 10. You aren’t actually going on the court and playing with this squad. Why should a guy be rewarded for being the best at a position that may be lacking?

But when it affects contracts?

If the 10 best players in the league are all point guards, PG #4 shouldn’t be making less than center #2 because the center made all NBA at a weak position.

That isn’t right.

It is like in the NFL.

All the highest paid players are QB. Because it is the most important position.

You might hate this idea because I’m adding a 6th man to All NBA teams. There would be 18 guys honored as all nba
1st, 2nd 3rd team each have
2 Guards
2 Wings
2 Bigs

You can classify every player in the NBA in one of those 3 designations.
