I don't much like the tourny idea. Even if its just one extra game for 2 teams, its trivial and silly. I like the other stuff though. No longer testing for weed. One extra (3 total now) two way contract slots. A penalty for super tax spending teams (aka the Warriors and Clippers). Also I'm intrigued by what mechanisms they are talking about adding to make it easier to trade and free agency options

How'd they get crushed? I haven't seen anything (yet) where they actually lost anything. In fact, some of them will gain salary. They increased the percentage of certain max contracts.
