I’ll start. The bubble guts game 4 vs Toronto in 2019. After that it’s the turnover game vs Hawks. But now I’m done. That’s two subpar playoff games I’ve got. Enlighten me. We’re trying to get to a point where it’s even Stephen with Embiid getting hunted the way Jokic does in that 7 game format. We get it. You dislike jokic.
Lets not act like Embiid doesn't have his fair share of going MIA in big spots in the playoffs
The way it was done gives him rest Sunday Monday Tuesday and possibly Wednesday and Thursday depending on how they decide to treat the Wednesday game and him playing. The other sit scenario provided much less rest.Yep. Or, as a couple of other folks said, sit him vs. the Suns who were without KD and play him against Joker and the Nugs.
The way it was done is kind of a bad look.
For me it's not even defense. If his team was winning ships I wouldn't care. You can't be 3 time and never reach a WCF in that time frame.
Correct. Cause how are you MVP of the entire league when you’re a 6 seed and your team doesn’t even have home court in round 1?Another example of shifting rules though, right? When Jokic is missing his #2 and #3 for big chunks of the previous two years, you hold it against him when his team is a lower seed or doesn't get it done in the playoffs.
7-24 game 6 at home last year vs MiamiI’ll start. The bubble guts game 4 vs Toronto in 2019. After that it’s the turnover game vs Hawks. But now I’m done. That’s two subpar playoff games I’ve got. How are you the mvp when you can't beat Phoenix missing 2 of their top 4?Correct. Cause how are you MVP of the entire league when you’re a 6 seed and your team doesn’t even have home court in round 1?
If I was a voter i 'd flat out say this dude isn't getting a 1st or 2nd place vote from me again until he can reach a WCF. Take my vote from me idc but God damn I'm not throwing him up there with the all time greats because his VORP is amazing. Win games. End of story.
With the broken face wearing a mask? Crazy the man wouldn’t shoot well under that circumstance. With the broken finger on the shooting hand? Crazy that he wouldn’t shoot well.7-24 game 6 at home last year vs Miami
Sure there's no hard and fast rules. You can include him as a homer pick.Kobe?
Got it. We’re back to one game is the difference again. It’s not 47 and 18 in Jokic’s face though. It’s the 2nd night of a back to back. How are you the mvp when you can't beat Phoenix missing 2 of their top 4?
I was watching the Lowe podcast and the Hoop Collective last week and both said, when it’s this close, they do look at things that usually should not be considered. You should lose your vote in that case. REGULAR SEASON INDIVIDUAL PLAY AWARD.
Come on, Dude.
Why are you dying in this hill?
Rudy is not a good offensive player.
Never has been.
His range is the length of his arm.
Correct. Cause how are you MVP of the entire league when you’re a 6 seed and your team doesn’t even have home court in round 1?
In fairness, you are aware this rhetoric isn’t just being expressed here, right?Got it. We’re back to one game is the difference again. It’s not 47 and 18 in Jokic’s face though. It’s the 2nd night of a back to back.
@bksballer89 doesn’t hate teams everybody.
He is the same as he’s always been.I never said he was. He is not a black hole however and can get his put backs and hit 2/3 of his FTs, all that is required of a defensive big in most casers. It's not my fault his team overpaid for him. He is exactly the player he has always been.
Got it. We use excuses for embiid but jokic not allowed any. Done discussing this with youWith the broken face wearing a mask? Crazy the man wouldn’t shoot well under that circumstance. With the broken finger on the shooting hand? Crazy that he wouldn’t shoot well.
Ok let’s do generational examples of the most non-generational players. For the Thunder I got Kyle Singler, who believe it or not is still on the payroll.Sure there's no hard and fast rules. You can include him as a homer pick.
