This sounds suspicious to say the least, complete bullshit would be more accurate in my opinion. Come on, players get vocal now days if they don’t get every littke thing how they want it. If they are covering an injury so be it, but this is weak.

Nah, its pretty common across the NBA. If you watch the panelist shows when they start talking load management, you'll always here at least on one of them say to stop blaming the players because its the medical staffs holding the people out. But no one ever hears that point because all they ever here is people like Barkley saying everyone is soft nowadays. A large percentage of the NBA teams had turned over a lot of their decision making to medical science analytics. Rest and recovery times, minutes played, food, work outs, sleep schedules, none of that is done by the coaches or the players. Its all the training staff.

Now why the fuck someone in the organization (Lakers in this case), can't overrule them and say "I hear your recommendation, but no, this guy is playing", I don't know.
