Sports rules:
1. When a player transgresses you can cling to one over the top ruling to impact future rulings with a stringent consistency.
2. One owner guarantees a full contract for a QB but that should not play a role in future negotiations for QBs.

3. Contracts are never reduced when a player completely tanks after signing them. Owners aren’t supposed to let knowing this will happen affect their dealings.

4. Fans should be aware that most sports contracts are structured around past and not future performance.

1. I recognize a ton of NBA players but I don’t know the 8th guy on some of these also rans
2. Everything is always so bunched up. I can’t really extrapolate where a dude is on the x and y axis.
3. I’m squinting so much I feel like Mr Magoo.
4. I don’t even know their criteria for what constitutes an open shot vs a tough shot.

The matchups for a play-in I want to see depends on injuries. If Zion is still hurt I could care less about N.O. bc they don't have much of a chance. Will Lebron and KAT be ready for the play-in?

This isn't my prediction but what I want to see:

1 Nuggets vs 8 Lakers
2 Kings vs 7 Clippers
3 Suns vs 6 Warriors
4 Grizz vs 5 Mavericks

Warriors and Mavericks could be flipped, intriguing matchup for KD vs GS or Book vs Luka.

As far as open or not open...who really knows. That is subjective. I don't see any specific rules or guidelines so I am just going with contested. Late contests not counting.

Either way here are some major points and yes players are bunched up but you can point out certain players-if they are elite, taking easier shots, etc. Watching the games I know Okoro is exactly where he should be. Improved 3 point shot but not there yet and he is wide open most of the time.

Basically Harden, Steph and Garland are taking a large amount of extremely difficult 3's and making them at an amazing clip. Not surprising for Steph. Harden surprisingly still not getting great looks all the time but making them at a career clip is interesting

Five years or so ago when the 5 or 6 seed is winning like 52 games that’s incredible because you have a ton of great teams pushing each other. This year? It’s only compelling because meh mediocre teams are vying with other meh mediocre teams for positioning.

Looked up their numbers. Some eerie similarities. First three seasons.

-Zion missed one full season and the other two played 24 & 61 games

-Oden missed one full season and the other two played 61 & 21 games
