Odds are against you for now. It's a shame they can't do it because what they should do is take the first one he got and give that to someone else. This third one is by far his most deserving, he shouldn't have 3 but you can't really make a case for him not winning this year.

Both could be affected by the voter boredom deal though. One has 3 MVPs, the other has 2. Seems voter boredom already took hold for Giannis.

What is going on there?

No word yet. Organization is very tight lipped about it. They're saying he's away from the team dealing with Family Issues.

Honestly, it's probably pretty serious if I had to guess. I don't believe he's missing this many games and given pretty much a free pass by the team to be away indefinitely if it wasn't a big issue. Bob Myers also said he doesn't believe Wiggins will miss the remainder of the season, but the fact that he has no concrete answer is telling. On top of that they said when he gets back it will be up to Wiggins discretion to tell the media why he was away, if he wants to provide that information at all.

Everyone is just kind of hoping for the best for him and his family right now. Also it's incredible how there haven't been any leaks either. I think people who have the information know it's sensitive and wouldn't risk it getting out.

3. Contracts are never reduced when a player completely tanks after signing them. Owners aren’t supposed to let knowing this will happen affect their dealings.
