If AD plays like he did earlier this season putting up Wilt numbers....he is totally capable of carrying them.

Depends on how you define superstar, imo.

A player who has been a superstar can be sort of a superstar in name only.

Kobe after his Achilles blew apart is an example. He was still treated as a superstar because he was Kobe and he could still give you those superstar moments from time to time (like dropping 60 in his last game)...but he was no longer capable of playing like that every night, or even playing every night for that matter.

I don't know as that I would say that Dame is in that superstar in name only spot yet, but I think he's headed that direction.

I think Bron and Steph might fall in that category too.

But their names are just too big to not include them on the list.

Dame hasn’t earned that.

Not his fault, because that is tied to lack of team success, but it is what it is.

But their names are just too big to not include them on the list.

I refuse to look at it that way, I don’t devalue Ewing, Barkley or Malone so I can’t Lillard. He’s not quite with those guys yet but damn he has been good.

Someone needs to explain this to me..

I realize the game has to evolve..

But WTF!!!

You’re up 20 , you’re playin an elite team -1, why the hell would you not slow the game down?

The Knicks up 20 drive up the court and hurl up a terrible shot and put it right back in the hands of their opponents , score and knock a 20 pt lead in half under 2
Minutes.

Wouldn’t it be better to let your opponents use their legs on the defensive end ? Eat up clock, frustrate your opponent?

What the hell has happened to game strategy?

This 3 ball is exciting, but it’s ruining the game.

Every game today is like watching an all star game from the 90’s.

Lillard doesn’t have anywhere near the resume they have.

Well I’m going to go ahead and call Lillard a superstar, he fits the bill for me. I’ve seen him routinely drive daggers on pretty much the whole league.

Taking bad early shots up 20 should never happen.

But trying to milk clock with a 24 second shot clock just isn’t effective until maybe the last couple minutes.

Because when you play the stall game, you usually end up getting a bad contested shot at the end of the clock.

And on a 24 second clock, you only really burn an extra 10 seconds or so by stalling vs. playing normally.

Take good shots, but don’t play the stall game too soon.

Yes.

Is he capable for the rest of the season?

Yes.

Will his motor match his abilities?



…….and it has to in order to get into the playoffs.

Id feel much better about things if Russell was healthy.

He's 6'6, bigger that what the Lakers have at SF other than Troy Brown, who is also 6'6. Otherwise, it's Walker or Reed at backup SF. They could start Vando and Rui together, but that's not going to space the floor very well.

But, he is the guy who will take a 10 game , out of 60 plus, sample to say Kendrick Nunn is a good rotational player.

He can’t be reasoned with…lol

AD has beast talent.

But, injuries and perceived motor flameouts have been his undoing.

Those things are the difference between him being him and him being Giannis with a jumper.
