I generally feel like a fairly smart person, but some of the shit Ive seen today made me feel really stupid for reading it.

Starting is overrated to me. Maybe they want PG to go back to his natural position and not handle the ball as much which isn't the case with Mann starting
Agree.

I understand using PG that way when there are no other viable options.

But, he is not Lebron and T Lue needs to stop playing him like he is.

George can be so careless with the ball.

Had we not traded for Bones or Gordon, I’d hate this move less.

But, the backcourt is just way to crowded now.

It’s dated but a much better effort on this joke. We still have a lot of work to do though to help you become normal.

Thoughts?

Man, I don’t know where he fits in the playoff rotation. I think he replaces House as a guy who can step in as a wing if someone gets hurt. He’s not taking minutes away from Harden Maxey Melton and Milton.

I’m leaning into the Sixers tough schedule to close as a way to get them in a playoff basketball kind of flow. Here are my goals for the last 25 games:
1. 17-8 giving them 55 wins
2. Deliver a healthy Embiid to the playoffs - he should sit around 4-5 of these final 25. Fuck MVP and individual honors
3. Give BBall Paul Reed all the back up 5 run. MonTrashZel only plays on nights where Embiid load manages. Dedmon’s ass doesn’t get off the bench.

Sixers are deep so they don’t have to get a playoff rotation down to 8. They can play Maxey, Reed, McDaniel, Milton, Niang throughout the playoffs.

It's deja vu all over again. lol

It is why the fit with the Lakers was so horrendous.

He didn’t fit as a starter with LeBron.

And he was terrible closing games.

Which puts his optimal role between 15-20 minutes which was never going to fly.

Because Kawhi and PG are less ball dominant, I think maybe the Clippers can start Russ, still use him as a second unit anchor by staggering minutes and have him off the floor in crunch time while still getting 25-30 minutes out of him.

Not saying it will work, but it has a much better chance than it did with the Lakers.
