Superstar players are extraordinarily different from the rest.

I only see Stephen Curry and ja marant as extraordinary , and love to watch.

The rest, Luca , Durant , Giannis, Jokic..etc don’t do it for me even tho I know they are today’s superstars.

After losing Markk to Utah, how is there no role for Love with the Cavs? That’s the thing that’s giving me pause. Sixers have been looking for a back up big (at least I have) and I never once threw Love’s name out there because I think he’s cooked. I think Heat opponents will put him in pick and roll and he will be targeted at that end. Not sure if he can shoot his way out of it in the playoffs to justify what you give up at the other end. I think the Cavs saw that too and why he’s been a DNP guy.

He's shot 23% from 3 in January (11-48) and hasn't seen the court yet this month. That would give me pause too...

I'm wary of any player benched behind guys like Wade, Stevens, and Diakite.

It's always about the why for me. He's likely to retire soon and the Cavs need to see the areas they need to improve to become contenders. So, it makes sense that they would have other role player types ahead of him.

Either way, for a contending team looking for shooting and some rebounding, he's a good risk coming from the buyout market. Low cost and they don't lose assets.

Those stats though....his value is rebounding and 3s. 23% isn't going to get it done.

Didn't look like he was pouting last night.
What did he look like the game before when they got blown out?

Thats’s what Cowerd is reporting.

Im guessing this has to do with his attitude when Bron broke the record.

Also, let’s be honest…

He will have 2 amazing games…AMAZING…

…and then look like a maimed, injured animal the next.

LeBron and his camp have been frustrated by how many minutes he has to play,” Cowherd said on The Herd. “They can’t depend on Anthony Davis. They are also mad that Darvin Ham (Lakers coach) is not keeping the pressure on Anthony Davis … I talked to an NBA source who I’ve known for a long tie, he said the Dallas Mavericks and Anthony Davis, keep your eye on it

Pretty sure you are the LA team interested.

Wouldn't surprise me. There have been Love to the Lakers rumors every season for years.

I'm not gonna complain if they somehow do get him, but I think he'd get more run on another team.

Assuming he can still shoot and grab a few boards, I think he'd have more impact on some other teams.

If he wants LA, take him simply to keep him away from the Suns or Warriors.

Maybe, seems like click bait to me. He was playing at an MVP level before his injury. I could see where Lebron could get frustrated though. It's not like AD is exactly Kobe when it comes to playing through injury. lol

Would Gilbert actually deny this request?

I mean, Love gotta give up some money.

But, otherwise?

For appearances sake, don’t you think they have to let him go?

I know it’s a business and nobody wants to help a direct competitor.

Especially not when his 2 suitors are the teams Lebron bolted for.

Cavs power forward Kevin Love — the last remaining piece of the franchise’s title team — made a formal request for a buyout on Wednesday, hours before the team’s final game before the All-Star break. Cleveland’s decision-makers, including chairman Dan Gilbert, will discuss that possibility amongst themselves and with Love’s representation over the next few days, sources tell cleveland.com.

The situation has been difficult on Love, who began telling confidants recently that he was weighing the possibility a buyout, sources say, paving the way for him to become a free agent, find a bigger on-court role elsewhere and join another playoff team.

Yeah….Colin probably has pretty reliable sources.

He didn’t say that’s what he personally believes.

He explicitly stated it’s what he was told.

Still, grain of salt like with everything else.
