I fucking love this for y’all, @bksballer89 @Heatles84 .

Obviously, he is passed his prime.

But, you are a contender who didn’t need a ton anyway.

He gives you size, boards and shooting.

You really couldn’t ask for much more on the buyout market.

Sad to see him go and good luck to him. He might have a nice role to offer a playoff team. One of my all-time favorite Cavs and he will be missed in the locker room
The Dubs could really use his 9 or 10 pts and 7 reb off their bench.

But he might end up in Phoenix, Miami, Milwaukee or Sacramento.

This would help a lot. Start him eventually and bring caleb off the bench

Never see Kevin Love without thinking about a game back in like 2012 where he dropped 51 against the Thunder. Westbrook had like 45 and the Thunder won but Love went nuts and single handed got the game into overtime.

Really hope Embiid passes on All Star weekend and gets the rest needed to go do work in the playoffs. Fuck this MVP shit as well and load manage him through the last 25 games finding 5 games to give him the night off. They’re never giving him an MVP anyway.

(1)I don’t go by numbers

(2)I go by what I see ..

(3)I said haven’t seen him play much ..
From what I see he’s long , has long strides , covers a lot of ground . But his finish isn’t as pretty as I like to see from a superstar!

His shot ain’t that great either , can’t you see from his foul shootin it ain’t smove!!!

1. Yeah no shit

2. Then you must have bad eyesight

3. So because you haven't seen the Bucks play much you think Giannis who is a 2x League MVP, a DPOY and a Finals MVP isn't a legit superstar?

"but his finish isn't as pretty as I like to see from a superstar!"

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Just crazy.

Okay since you're the only person in the NBA threads that thinks Giannis isn't a superstar which player on the Pacers is a superstar then?

For you to say he isn't a superstar is proof you're not really an NBA fan and don't watch many games.

My favorite was "he's a little muscle bound".

I guess Karl Malone wasn't a star either...neither is Lebron. lol

Yep, that would be a big get for them.

Would love the Lakers getting him, even with the new guys, they could use his shooting.

But their need is SF, so he'd likely get more run with the Heat.

After losing Markk to Utah, how is there no role for Love with the Cavs? That’s the thing that’s giving me pause. Sixers have been looking for a back up big (at least I have) and I never once threw Love’s name out there because I think he’s cooked. I think Heat opponents will put him in pick and roll and he will be targeted at that end. Not sure if he can shoot his way out of it in the playoffs to justify what you give up at the other end. I think the Cavs saw that too and why he’s been a DNP guy.

Certainly possible. On the other hand, the Cavs kids have been ballin' and being in the thick of the playoff race is great experience for them.

I doubt whoever he goes to is going to be expecting big minutes out of him and teams can hide him on defense for 10-15 minutes a game. It's not like he's ever been known for his defense. lol

He's been a good soldier his entire time in Cleveland and has stuck around to mentor the kids when he didn't have to. The Cavs know they're a season or 2 away from being real contenders. I think that buying him out so he can pick a contender to go to and maybe get another ring before he retires is the Cavs way of thanking him for being a class act.

I'm wary of any player benched behind guys like Wade, Stevens, and Diakite.
