Trash. This is the year they need to let the 3 point contest close the show.

I agree, and on paper it does look a bit weak.
But ya just never know.
One or 2 of them could end up surprising everyone.
It is the year of the Rabbit, so hopefully they’ll be bringing the hops.

Simons injury doesn’t look great.

Hope he’s ok.

But, Joe might be getting a call if he can’t go.
Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said X-rays on Simon's right ankle were negative.
Portland's next game isn't until after the AS break. (Feb. 23rd @ Sacramento)

He really would.

At worst, he’s a emergency wing.

But, I think he can still play.

I think he can play too. Struggled out of the gate and never really got another chance.

Kind of funny though…

Lakers keep going after the Wizards cast offs.

Memo to Jeanie and Rob:

The Wizards are bad. You need a new plan.

What do you class as success?

To most teams only winning a championship is a success. I don't see "2nd place" banners in many rafters.

In the span of ten years if you make the Finals every single year but win only once, is that more success than failing to make the playoffs for nine years but winning the title once? Same result at the end of the day.

That is just not true though.

I am always saying teams need to make moves with the ultimate vision of contending for a title in mind.

However, by your definition, the Kings have been just as successful as the Celtics over the past 10 years.

I don’t think anyone would argue that.

Yeah, got a couple high flyers in there who I am sure can make impressive dunks.

But they need more names to make this contest viable. You aren’t going to get the established star anymore, but you at least need to get a couple bigger name young players. Even if they can’t dunk that well.

Give me Jalen Williams or Scottie Barnes or somebody like that.

People aren’t tuning in to watch bench warmers dunk.

Yeah he did, Vanderbilt is a nice piece. Beasley is a nice filler for now. DLo is what he is. Not as much of a bonehead as Russ but he can be a chunker at times. He raked Danny but also Rob will keep losing, at least until Lebron is healthy and who knows the ceiling of this team. I can say it's higher but not much higher.

Lebron is expected to play tonight.

Wait Shane was a Heat fan? Is he basically a LeBron fan? I guess not or he'd be rooting for the Lakers now lol

Some people can’t go full heel…

To play devils advocate

The kings this year are a bigger success than a non title Celtics team imo just because they’ve closed their playoff drought

But overall your point is fine

Not eveyone can be a true contender the same year

And you see now with teams like lakers, Denver and Boston almost running out of draft capital to move, when you’re not a contender you sell hard to add the pick ammo you need when you’re good

No. He's always been a Cavs fan, but he's also a Lebron fan. Unlike other Cavs fans though, he remained a Lebron fan when he was in Miami. No one was really talking about the Cavs, so he talked a lot about Lebron and the Heat. At that time, I didn't know he was a Cavs fan and assumed he was a Heat fan. When Lebron returned to Cleveland and he started talking about the Cavs. I started giving him shit about it. Then he explained it to me.

Meh, the Bullets have some talent that you can put around a star player or 2. They just don't have the stars.

He will hobble out there if there is any way. Herro isn’t even traveling with the team tonight, but he will be in the contest.
