Yeah but it's the Lakers. They will get players looking their way regardless. Especially bought out ones.

And the West is tight as hell right now. Get a good win streak going and they jump up the 6th in just a matter of weeks.
The problem is there are less than 30 games left and guys have until March to land on a roster, to be playoff eligible.

The Suns have Kevin Durant.

The Nugz have been in first place for awhile.

Dallas has 2 stud guards and are in desperate need of 3 and D guys.

Add in the Celtics, Cavs, Bucks, Heat…

Guys have better options to try to win a ring.

Kind of is. Why do you think Lebron signed an extension last year?

The allure of LA is stronger than Denver or Memphis.
LOL seriously?

The allure of LA for LeBron "Space Jam 2" James is a little different than for Dwayne "Buyout" Dedmon

To make movies.

Living in LA does still hold value.

But, not as much as it used to.

The problem is the incompetence of Rob, Rambi and Jeanie.

They made some good moves in the last few weeks.

Doesnt erase the fuckery of the last few years.

Plus playing with Lebron does not mean to most what some think it does. Talent in this nba means options, and a Lebron is not needed to win a title.

I mean, it’s nice to have a Lebron….lol

Playing with Lebron is a mixed bag, depending on the player’s objectives.

In order to thrive , you need to be willing to be a good soldier, get little credit, take most of the blame.

But, he will put you in the national spotlight, which is great for your bank account.

I think we can ease of off Rob now. The fuckery focus can remain on the Rambi and Jeanie though...

Plus, unless you've got a lot of game left, you're probably not getting a lot of minutes on this team now. They have less than 30 games to determine how these new players fit into their plan beyond this season. If they signed someone like Dedmon, he's likely at the end of the bench.

I should have really clarified the lure of "LA" rather than "The Lakers"

The weather, celebrities and Hollywood can still be a factor for players.

Nah.

Maybe if he comes thru in the Summer.

My problem with Rob hasn’t changed.

He is still a slave to Klutch and he might have waited to late to make this move.

If you miss the playoffs, epic failure.

EPIC

If he makes this move earlier, it's likely more expensive. If AD is going to continue to score like he did last game, the point is moot anyway.

Lakers are included in that too.

Just to a lesser extent now.

You can be a star anywhere.

But, if you want to rub elbows with folks in the entertainment industry, LA and NY are tops.

If it’s weather, Miami, CALI teams are tops.

Would have been more expensive.

But, you would have a higher ceiling with Buddy and Turner.

You would not be in 13th place either.

With that being said, I actually like this trade better.

You plugged up multiple holes.

I just wonder what the cost will be to retain most of them.

Fuck paying D’Lo 30 plus mil per.

Beasley will need a new deal in a year, if you even pick up his option.

As for AD….

He was fucking awful from the field.

Made some good defensive plays down the stretch.

But, Dude doesn’t look right, either mentally or physically.

Problem with Rob is, he's a gambler!

Trading Kuz, KCP and Trez for an HOFer like Russell Westbrook should essentially be a no-brainer. The gamble is that he wasn't going to be a good fit with Lebron.

If it worked out, Lakers would be champions.

It didn't

The problem with Rob is he knew it wouldn’t work.

But, he did it anyway.

Let’s be honest here, even Lakers fans were beyond skeptical.

That says one of 4 things to me:

Either…

1. He holds little power and is bowing to the whims of Lebron and Klutch.

2. He holds little power and is bowing to the whims of the Rambi and Jeanie.

* can’t blame him for this since Jeanie is his boss *

3. He’s a shit GM

4. All of the above

Everyone saw this shit coming, including Rob.

He had the correct deal lined up but succumbed to pressure from SOMEONE.

I think we were all skeptical when it happened.

But I was excited to see how and if it would work.

But yes, Klutch and 'Bron have a lot to do with everything.
