So far in the 3 pt contest are Lillard, Simons, Hield, Haliburton and Markenan.

3 spots left to fill.

Damn. I guess you gotta explain everything to everyone. "No homo" started as a derisive joke, mostly among young people on message boards, chats, and gaming communities. You're not simply saying "I'm not gay". You're saying "This isn't in a gay way because gay is bad". It's a way to be dismissive of them without outright using a slur. To say its a benign phrase is to be completely ignorant of the context and situation. Is it as bad as a slur? No. But the NBA has had what is essentially a no tolerance policy every since Kobe dropped the f word slur some 10+ years ago. That's why the fines are so high, to deter anyone from using any thing in that realm.

We all know the context. I disagree with the fine is my point. The more we give credence to fines like this, the more power we give these words.

Lakers can get Stanley back now.

Do you still need him with Gabriel, Rui, Vandy?

I think they go backcourt defender (maybe some one like Kris Dunn from the g-league, or I guess Stanley fits this mold a little) or if someone like Noel is available, he would be an option. It's weird suddenly having depth, lol...

Surprised the Lakers aren’t #1. He won’t play as much on Boston or Cleveland but I will say he is more of a need for Cleveland. Boston has shooters for days

Lakers have a full-fledged youth movement going on amidst this makeover. I suppose they could make room for a pensioner if needed, lol.

It isn’t political.

NBA fines players for criticizing refs too.

They fine players all the time. And more importantly, players know they are not allowed to speak freely in media sessions.

And it is okay for the NBA (a private business) to set those policies and legislate them.

Would’ve been a better pickup for the eagles…

Has more tackles in the backfield than the eagles defense

looks like Ben Simmons is going to get limited minutes off the bench with the revamped Nets team. I wonder if a max player has ever cared less?

Jesus fucking Christ. They’re just trolling me now. They go and sign the only bigger waste of space than MonTrashZel in the league. Great news the day after a Super Bowl loss haha.

Not a better backup big tandem in basketball
