Man, I feel the energy growing in this forum 24 days until the home opener with San Fran - fingers crossed for a complete season and some FUN baseball to watch this season. I have to kinda keep the brakes on though so I don't get too damn excited cuz I sure the hell don't want the big disappointment again.

"The big disappointment" is the literal definition of Mariners baseball.

Well a bit of bad news I am afraid. My attempt to buy the Mariners and change the culture hit a major road block when Jeff Bezos's ex remarried somebody else. I put in my best attempt but she rebuffed them all.

I saw that after the reairing was over. I missed it other than the short clip I posted. Glad he looked like a vet. I have high hopes for him.

I just like that he was nice and calm, didn’t over react where he was able to get all the strikeouts, especially the Trout one. Didn’t lose composure when he didn’t get the call to strike out Ohtani. I know it is just spring but those are things I look for from a young guy more than the actual numbers, unless of course he gets rocked.

And this whole roll-over inning stuff is nuts. Why not let a manger say we want to start this inning with 1st and 3rd and no outs to practice getting him in? If you want a runs limit for innings, then go for it, but 25 pitches and I'm out is just dumb.

Ya I have no problem moving on from Seager (only because he doesn't fit the age curve), but to do so at the position where you have zero competent options is just nuts...or just Mariners.

It is just too bad they didn't have a thing in baseball where you could get guys from other teams by offering them money to fill holes in your roster...

He looked good. He isn't an ACE but we aren't a playoff team so...

Well, the M's put up a battle but the Rockies took it in the 9th 2-1. Fun to see the young guys trying to impress, but sometimes i had to just kind of chuckle when they goofed up. Looking forward to a complete season this year, and I promise, I will try REALLY hard not to bash Servais too much this year. But truth be told, I have sometimes broken a promise......

I am starting to come around on Marco may be a Jamie Moyer type guy. An ace on paper but not the guy any sane person wants pitching with the season on the line.
