trout has over..1000..miner league at bats..in 3..and a part of a 4th..miners year........with no covid
kelenic has...663..so...no one with a baseball..brain would say he is being held back..........so far

and i do not think..the mariners..want to do that either...

what they want...is a Lh hitter tLF/CF..that is ready to compete...at the MLB lvl....they want..kelenic..and there mouth is watering(and fans as well)

but.....as far as i know..he is not ready...and need a bit more at bats

now........if the mariners think...he is ready....then...they will give him a try...they need a LF guy
this is barely kelenics..4th year..WITH A COVID year in there

everyones whineing and crying...will not..change that...at the same time...if he is ready..then he is...if not..then not

Briefly tuned in to see Gilbert. Fastball and slider are there but change could use i think a little refining. He could easily make an impact now as a reliever but I think he needs that 3rd pitch just worked on a little more so he can start. Overall though, Im excited to keep watching him progress.

What I noticed from this clip is that the ball comes out of his hand so easy. Small sample, but impressive.

Since we are out of the roid era . They should be calling up players earlier . The back end of careers is going to be about 34 for a good player .

Managed to find a stream on Reddit that was pretty choppy to the Angels broadcast. Kind of a pain and not awesome quality so I stopped watching after Gilbert was done. Thankfully Root will start having some broadcasts next weekend

kelenics numbers are lying to us a bit..cuz his ave...is 250...but...his slg..is 625..and ops 958..the only outfield..with better numbers than that...is

Too cool. I would love t see guys like Gilbert and other younger M's pitchers throw this spring. They are my one excitement for this team in 2021.

Glad you got to watch him pitch and report to us. Thanks.

It was just on MLB network too. Weird how this whole thing is going. Gilbert looked like a vet out there.

Oh yeah. He’s one I have my eye on for sure. I’m hopeful he’s an impact starter at some point this year. He struck out David Fletcher who’s tough to strikeout as well as trout and shoulda had Ohtani but the ump missed the call.
As painful as it can be being a Mariners fan, it seems this spring there is a lot of guys to watch which is fun.

Was wondering why I hadnt seen him yet. Not that I have high hopes for him but depth was already thin since they havent signed anyone

I saw that after the reairing was over. I missed it other than the short clip I posted. Glad he looked like a vet. I have high hopes for him.

Man I hope he makes it. Do it M's we have nothing, and I mean nothing, to lose.
