With the Cavs win the Thunder now have the 5th worst record in the league. I knew they could do it.

It's amazing how they've wasted a prime backcourt in Dame and McCollum all these years.

Wasted how?

Lillard is a superstar. McCollum is a very good player, but they have the same skill set.

The have been to conference finals. But they are not the type of star pairing anyone should expect to be true championship contenders. They have been one of the better teams in the league, but in no way have they fallen short of realistic expectations.

Dame likely to be another Stockton/Malone: loyal to one city, no rings. Maybe he'll ring chase at age 37 (like Malone tried with the Lakers)

Except Karl Malone was a top 3 player and Stockton was a top 10 player. Both were 1st team all NBA types.

That is not Lillard and McCollum.

@fightinfunbags was it you who said Ben plays his best around the time of AS voting?

I just looked at his splits the last 3 seasons including this year.

His best month in the previous 2 seasons was January and this year it was February aka months where all star team/voting is finalized lol
I can’t take credit for first noticing it. It’s been the topic of conversation now and again on local sports radio.

Name the 3 INDIVIDUAL DEFENDERS on Philly who will constantly stop Durant, Harden, and Irving in a best of 7.

They don't need 3 individual defenders and that's not what you said. It's about team defense. You're just trying to cover up that you were wrong.

The Clippers were without Leonard and PG but Reggie Jackson torched his former team as the Clipps B team beat the Pistons.....LOL.

Philly plays better defense and in the playoffs.....Doc will outcoach Nash in the ECF.

If Schroder bolts.....bring in DeRozan on a team friendly deal (gives him a chance to chase a ring).....he's averaging a career high in apg with the young Spurs....I think he'd be perfect with James and AD as the #3 option. Play him at PG in title only and have the offense run through James like it currently does.

Yeah, the Nets may very well beat the Sixers in a series, but it won't be because they didn't have 3 players who lock down KD, Kyrie and Harden individually. It would be because the team defense wasn't good enough. No one is beating the Nets if it's all about offense.

The Warriors get a good draft pick (doubt they get Minny's pick) and a healthy squad next season they could be right back in the thick of things in the WC.....

This and defense has been the only question since the Big 3 formed.

BKS has a tough game tonight, his 2 teams squaring off head to head.....LOL.

I never mentioned team defense in my post. Making ridiculous assumptions as always.
