Curry and Green IMO will have to score close to 30 per game if Philly wants a legit chance at beating Brooklyn and Ben need to be aggressive as he was a few months ago
Agree with that. I’d add Shake Milton to the list with Green and Curry.

You realize the postseason is a little different than the regular season marathon right?

When coaching and making adjustments matter? Oh, yeah....defense too.
Agree on the attention to defense but would add even if Harden and Kyrie commit to playing D...they really can’t.

Because you think the Nets will score 140 in the playoffs?

Tonight's game was pretty much meaningless. Other than helping the Sixers get the 1 seed, it doesn't really matter as far as the playoffs or who the better team is. The Sixers blew the Nets out tonight because they were missing a bunch a guys(yes I know that the Nets came back late but that such a dead cat bounce it's not even interesting and that's why Kyrie didn't come back into the game)

Bks hates the Sixers.

The Sixers are a really good team. And ultimately it will come down to how healthy Embiid is and how much vets hit their shots.

The next 5 games will likely tell you a lot about the Sixers. They go 2-3 or 3-2 and this team is the East favorite.

Really not happy with our faithful tonight with the KD sucks chant. Dude is going off for 40 in a playoff game now (he could have anyway but don’t poke the fucking bear).

Scary thing is Philly is yet to play Brooklyn with the big 3 available or even 2 of the 3 available. Makes a huge difference.

G1- Was prior to the Harden trade. Irving and KD didn't play
G2- Only harden played
G3- Only Kyrie played

Superstar players matter too. I saw Kyrie and KD in the biggest moments. Those guys show up.....the same can't be said about Harden but I have very little doubt that Irving and KD are going to show up in the playoffs.

Great offense beats great defense every time.

You do realize they basically have 3 of the 5 best individual scorers in the league right? Let's quit acting like coaching and adjustments are going to shut these guys down

In terms of matchup with the Sixers LaVert and Allen were better suited with KD and Irving than taking them away and adding Harden. Sixers had no chance competing with that depth. Sixers just can’t bring that. In the end this bunch may be too much to handle but if the Nets kept those guys (plus Dinwiddie) I would say Nets in 4 or 5. It’s all good. They were trying to beat Bucks and Celtics. Nobody expected Sixers to take this big of a step forward.

Where did I say that?

The entire season series between the 2 teams been meaningless

I agree. I had arguments with Lakers fans early in the season (prior to Dinwiddie getting hurt) about how the Nets were the deepest team in the league. I don't think they needed to trade for Harden TBH

The Nets big 3 are very good. But they've also played something like 6 games together.

They Nets certainly could beat the Sixers. But let's not pretend that those 3 will work seamlessly in a playoffs situation when they've barely played together.
Assuming that they will all just defer to the best player at all times is a big assumption. And the Sixers have a pretty good D that could frustrate them.

I care very little about the Sixers one way or the other. Their fans can be annoying on twitter but that's about it. I hate this version of the Nets 10X more. I would love to see the Sixers beat the Nets in a series....any of the other 15 teams in the playoffs

Yeah I don't believe you. You and I have been talking hoops for way too long for me to believe that you don't care about the Sixers. It would be like me saying that I don't care about the Lakers or Celtics. You were a casual Nets fan until this year. I get why you aren't anymore but come on man.

You can believe what you want. I have no reason to really hate the Sixers. Embiid to mature a bit as it seems like he finally quit the childish trolling he did previously.

They're not the Heat rivals. Kicked our ass in a playoffs series then their fans try to shit on Jimmy for going to Miami which backfired after what Miami did in the playoffs while the Sixers got swept.....that is basically the extent of the Heat/Sixers issues in the past 5 years

Last night- Outscored Phoenix by 8 in the first quarter, score 16 points in the 2nd and lose that quarter by 14. End result? 106-86 Suns win
Tonight- Outscored Denver by 5 in the first quarter, score 18 points in the 2nd and lose that quarter by 16. End result? TBD
