2021 NBA regular season thread

You guys like the idea of the playin? Like SAS is saying just take the top 10 teams from both Conferences.....

I'm torn on it.

On the one hand, I like the idea of a couple more meaningful games. I also like that a team that would normally be solidly in the playoffs, but isn't because of injury, could get healthy and have a way in. For example, what if the Warriors, who I think are currently sitting at about 10, got Klay back, but not quite soon enough to grab the 8 seed?

On the other hand, I kind of agree with @shopson67 , if 82 games wasn't enough for you to get in, you probably don't belong.

Thunder getting screwed by the shortened season, we are just now really learning how to lose.

Not sure. 72 seems like it should be enough too.

But, if there's a time to experiment with something like this, I'd say the end of a shortened season is a good time to test it.

That way, if it's successful, you can keep it. If not, you can just say it was a "one-off" because of the shortened season and not do it again.

In don't care either way but I don't mind it. The 8 seed is usually cannon fodder anyway

Shannon Sharpe is just too loud for me. I don't like having sports takes yelled at me. It's why I don't like Stephen A and was never a Chris Berman fan.

KD should just get rid of all social media. Dude is way too sensitive. I've noticed that you never really see KD in commercials. I wonder if companies stay away from him because of his social media whining or if he just doesn't care about endorsement money?

I mean, KD has been bare minimum, a top 5 player for just about the entirety of his career. He should be swimming in endorsement money. But he isn't, and you're likely right given the reasons he's not. As someone on here mentioned before, KD and Harden a stark contrast to one another. I'd start my team with KD, but I would never want to hang out with him. He'd piss me off.

Watching Harden on the court infuriates me and I can't stand him. Off the court, I bet hanging out with him would be a cool fucking experience.

Speaking of Harden you know who would be a great teammate for him? Lou Williams. Between Lou's love of strip club wings & Harden affinity for establishments that have the naked ladies they'd be a helluva 1-2 combo at da club.

72 is more than enough. 82 is too many already. Figure out a season schedule that limits or eliminates back-to-backs.

My thing is if its season ending it should have been announced. If he's out for a few weeks and get 3-5 games in during the final week, I'll be satisfied
