It's amazing how they've wasted a prime backcourt in Dame and McCollum all these years.

Agree and from everything I've read and heard, Dame has been committed to staying in Portland. Most guys would have been looking to get out by now. I know they had a couple of pretty good teams that go de-railed by injury.

But they've had that backcourt together for 8 years now. You'd think they'd have accomplished a little more.

They're both idiots

Shannon Sharpe is just too loud for me. I don't like having sports takes yelled at me. It's why I don't like Stephen A and was never a Chris Berman fan.

KD should just get rid of all social media. Dude is way too sensitive. I've noticed that you never really see KD in commercials. I wonder if companies stay away from him because of his social media whining or if he just doesn't care about endorsement money?

Dame likely to be another Stockton/Malone: loyal to one city, no rings. Maybe he'll ring chase at age 37 (like Malone tried with the Lakers)

I think you are right...he's said so many times it's not something he'd do (join other stars) and I think he's the type who would stick to those original thoughts.

TBH, unless the organization tells him to go or they decide to move on Dame seems like a lifer to me. This is the same guy who turned down major D-1 programs for college because he had already committed to Weber State who was the only offer he had for a long time. Seems like a dude who is going to ride it out with Portland.

what more do you want? seems like year 3 in rebuild the most apples to apples comparison. If the Cavs finsih year 6 and have not made the playoffs, I'm sure you'll let me know.

and before you tell me they won a title in year 7 I never said I expect the Cavs to win a title anytime soon or ever. I realize it's not so easy in a market like this and they need a good bit of luck.

You're just going to name names and ignore where those players were in their careers then.

Nah, no need for byes and such. I'd go with a balanced schedule and take the top 16 overall regardless of conference, dump the gimmick play-in games. No upper seed should have to risk their entire season on a play-in game. If those 9th and 10th seeds couldn't get there through 82 games, you lose.

thats what i am saying

going through possibly the Nuggets, Jazz and Clips is just brutal (if they are healthy)

its not exactly going through the pathetic and injured West the GSW went through in 14-15 then a Cavs team missing 2 of 3 all stars

if you went through the Nugz, Jazz, Clips and Nets---- that is a meatgrinder of a postseason and would be one of, if not the toughest, that i have seen in a long long time.

No, it's more like going through the West like they did last year, only with an improved roster.

KD is so annoying. Harden is the easiest to tolerate of the 3. He keeps his mouth shut and doesn't make a fool out of himself frequently

Not for me. I don't pay much attention to social media crap from the players, so style of play is bigger to me. I can't stand Harden's ref-baiting game.

I thought he went there because he didn't get any D-1 offers?

It's a different season with COVID.....they could have made the 1st round best 2 of 3 and gone to the regular format in the next round.

Pretty jacked for this Sixers Nets game tonight despite the Nets missing people. This one determines the season series and the tie breaker should the Sixers and Nets finish with identical records.

Pretty much the same. From a sheer enjoyment of the game perspective, Harden's game is frustrating to watch.

I thought he went there because he didn't get any D-1 offers?

He got offers late from mid-majors like St. Mary's and San Diego State. I was wrong, I thought he was recruited by UCLA and Kentucky, but misread the article and it was referencing Brandon Jennings getting those offers. Still he had strong offers from better programs and still stayed loyal to Weber State.

Nice to see him stay loyal to that school.
