That's the difference between you and Wiggy.

I agree with you re: taking the field when considering the Lakers vs. the field isn't crazy.

But the difference is, if Lebron was still in Cleveland, he'd be taking the "I'm not betting against Lebron in the playoffs" as well. But since Lebron is on a team he doesn't like, he can't stop himself. You, on the other hand, can separate the two even if doing so might make you throw up in your mouth a little. lol
at least this time it's just a little. Idea of him winning one in Miami when he got there had me thinking I'd throw up a lot.

All seriousness, Lakers winning doesn't even bother me at all. Never mind seeing new blood, but I'd certainly be cheering for LA if they played the Nets. and, sure, it helps in the Lebron/MJ discussions that are inevitable.

There's more to it than just when they suited up. There was also being late to practices and planes being held up for away games. If that's going on and they're not being held accountable. That's on the coach.

It could be.

But these also sound like basketball operations issues to me. If Kawhi is being told by team management that he doesn’t have to practice, then what is the coach supposed to do there? It is like mom says no, so the kid goes to dad for the answer they want.

The plane thing is almost surely a basketball ops thing, not a coach thing.

So you can blame him for not sticking with his guys when the subs don't play well? How about blame the players for being 0-10?

Yeah, pretty simple call.

Imagine how he would have been crucified (rightly so) if he lost game 7 with PG and Kawhi on the bench.

It is fine to give an extra breather for a minute like @trojanfan12 suggested, but you have to roll with your horses down the stretch of a close playoff game.

Yep, one of the things that makes them star players is the fact that they can be playing horribly, then get hot at just the right time and save the game. It doesn't always happen, but if they're on the bench it guarantees it won't happen.

A. if LeBron was still in Cleveland he would be in the East- big difference

B. LeBron is what 3-4 years older now? This is the first time I ever remember, in his entire career, him missing this much time for an injury- beside his first year in LA. I dont think its coincidence the 2 longest times he has ever missed have come this late in his career.

C. In Cleveland he would be a 1 or 2 seed. The Lakers are going to be what? Probably be in the 4-5 matchup? That means 3 tough series.

Sit down in the corner and STFU, you dunce.

The Lakers are currently without James and AD, just got their asses kicked by the Knicks last night.

If they come back and both are healthy before the playoffs we'll discuss it then. How about this, I bet you 5k the Cavs don't make the playoffs (only 3 games behind the 10 seed)?
yah prob not. lol

the last game the Cavs played Nance, Allen, Sexton and Garland all sat out with injuries. Some more serious then others- but I think they intend to try and MAKE SURE they dont get the "10 seed". It would be stupid management.

Lakers did catch a big break with the Nugz losing Murray- now that 4-5 matchup looks a lot less stressing for a first rounder.

it really makes me laugh just how bad the Rockets are. lol.

the Twolves too are just such garbage

all though- if they keep their pick and can add someone nice to Towns and Edwards- maybe it gets interesting down the road a little.

Dude needs to shut his fucking mouth and ball. There’s been recent talk on Philly radio about a Simmons trend. The month that culminates in All Star voting, dude puts up like 20/8/8 for that month. Then after the All Star game fades for segments of games where he is invisible. Not sure if it’s a 24 years old thing or if he just lacks that snarl you want to see in a champion. Dude is an enigma. One day he looks like the next coming of Magic Johnson and the next day he looks like a more expensive Draymond Green.

Stress? I would have Denver straight up. Now not so much.
