2nd mug of coffee and I'm straiiiiiiiiiiiight wiiiiiiiired.
There's more to defense than just individual defense, moron......you know this.....I never mentioned team defense in my post. Making ridiculous assumptions as always.
Yeah, the Nets may very well beat the Sixers in a series, but it won't be because they didn't have 3 players who lock down KD, Kyrie and Harden individually. It would be because the team defense wasn't good enough. No one is beating the Nets if it's all about offense.
You used to bitch about him.....LOL.I miss him
LOL.How they gonna do that while they're still on the Warriors?

You're never going to lock down those players down Any team who actually think they'll stop them is in for a rude awakening. The key is slowing one of them down and then exposing their weak defense. Slowing one down can be for example Harden avg 22 or so on 39% shooting
At the end of games, individual defense is more important than team defense. There's a lot of iso basketball late in games so yes you do need good individual defenders
Are you insane? Serious question. At the end of games, individual defense is more important than team defense. There's a lot of iso basketball late in games so yes you do need good individual defenders
So we're now acting like having good individual defenders isn't important lol got it
Pretty much.Wrong again. Teams aren't going to try to shut them down individually late in games. They will try to use team defense to force the ball out of their hands and force them into a tough shot.
So we're now acting like having good individual defenders isn't important lol got it
Oh really? I had no idea. None at all. I was totally serious.LOL.
He talking about Danny and Seth.
So, team defense...just like I said. Glad we agree.
Are you insane? Serious question.
Speaking of Harden you know who would be a great teammate for him? Lou Williams. Between Lou's love of strip club wings & Harden affinity for establishments that have the naked ladies they'd be a helluva 1-2 combo at da club.
Ha.Now who's making ridiculous assumptions?
I consider Lillard a top 10 player in the league, and arguably the best PG in the league (I said arguably). It's wasted because Portland has failed to surround them with any talent as they've relied on those two to carry them. The only backcourt that's been better, IMO in the last few years is Steph and Klay.Wasted how?
Lillard is a superstar. McCollum is a very good player, but they have the same skill set.
The have been to conference finals. But they are not the type of star pairing anyone should expect to be true championship contenders. They have been one of the better teams in the league, but in no way have they fallen short of realistic expectations.
