Only CP3 of that group resembles a championship player, and he hasn't gotten there with any of his teams yet either.

I'd like to see CP3 get a ring before his playing career is over.

I personally think no they can’t make it out of the west without Davis. It’s going to be tough with him at this point.
With him they are still the faves.....after picking up Drummond and McLemore. They added a center and a scorer off the bench.

Only Kawhi on last years team resembles one.

Dude had the talent on his rosters to do a lot more in the playoffs than he did.

Agreed. Running out of opportunities though, and may have to be after his contract runs out (or is bought out in the final year). He's still really good, but not $40M+ of your cap trying to win a championship good. The Suns would need to go on a hell of a run IMO.

Forgot about his huge contract. I hope for his sake the Suns can make a magical run to the title. They're a good team. But I don't see them winning it all.

He‘s had the talent though.

In Boston he’s had 4 HOF players and only got one title

In LA he’s had a prime CP3, a prime Blake Griffin, Kawhi and Paul George and never got out of the 2nd round in the playoffs.

That to me screams mediocrity at best.

Give those teams to guys like Phil Jackson, Pop, Pat Riley, Lenny Wilkins or even probably guys like Larry Brown and Rudy T and you’ll probably get 2 or 3 championships out of those rosters at least.
Might be wrong but doesn't Wilkins only have 1 title? Never got to Finals with a pretty impressive Cavs' team. Not like winning titles is easy...Riley has had many years where he didn't even get to Finals or go far in playoffs. Guessing you know some of those Laker's teams were pretty stacked.

I had Rondo in mind but HOFer is a slight exaggeration

All Star player though

ehh..yea. prob not. Maybe based on his playoff success but idk. Obviously he couldn't carry a bad team to much. Nice player to have on a good team. can make a difference.

Wilkens is generally known as one of the best coaches in history. He never even got close to coaching stacked teams like Doc had and still won a title with an average Sonics team.

Also, Riley won 5 rings in 10 years with the Lakers in the 80s - I think that’s pretty damn good especially as he faced a team with FIVE HOF players multiple times.

I guess if Dennis Johnson is a HOF it's not crazy for Rondo to be one also

Wait a minute. You had a sense of humor, when? :heh: Just kidding.

Did you hear that De'Aaron Fox was fined 20K for being critical of the refs and Kyrie made unnecessary contact with a ref and was fined nothing? That doesn't seem right.
I wouldn't fuck with someone who thinks the world's flat. That guy's not right in the head. So it makes sense.
