Honestly, LA should have taken that L and rested Lebron considering AD is out. Don't be playing him 40 minutes to beat the fucking Thunder in February. Give him his usual minutes and if the game starts getting out of hand, fuck it

So much for will to win...

Are you kidding? Big shot LeBron just buried a 3 to push to OT with 15 seconds left. Jordan does that we suck his dick.

I think you need to realize what potential is, and how closely in context it relates here. No team was willing to trade with the Pelicans, because they weren't going to offer up anything of value. Because again, and I'll put it in bold as I've pointed this out multiple times and you're just not grasping it. Here goes.....

Rich Paul is AD's agent. Rich Paul is in Lebron James' inner circle. Lebron James has insight into what AD's plans are along with the influence of AD's agent (Rich Paul).

I understand all that.

And yet, you still want to downplay LBJ’s role in all this.

AD wanted to go to LA to play with LeBron.

LeBron is the center of the whole deal. He is the dynasty. Stop trying to play it like him moving teams diminishes his legacy. If he always joined a made super team like Miami, then I get it. He only did that once.

Joining LA and Cleveland was not taking the easy way out as you are trying to claim.

And LOL at Wiggy liking your comments. The 1 dude who was most outspoken about LeBron’s move to LA being about choosing Hollywood over winning.

Classic.

Phoenix looks like they're going to be a handful in the playoffs....barring injuries. CP turned in a great performance.

Impressive win over Milwaukee.

They need to quit playing down to the competition. OKC is scrappy and they play hard, but no way they should be taking the Lakers to OT. Especially not in back to back games.

If the Celtics really thought they could have signed him and it wasn't hot air they could have thrown the house at Davis (including Tatum). They did not because the Lakers had the cap space. If the Lakers did not have the cap space it might have been a different story.

The Knicks never had anything close to the assets to trade for Davis. They couldn't have even made close to the offer the Lakers could have made so whoever suggested that as an actual possible destination is on crack.

Its pretty clear that LeBron went to the Lakers knowing that Paul, Davis and LeBron were all on the same page of getting Davis to the Lakers. It would have happened Year 1 of LeBron's tenure with LAL if not for Demps being stubborn- the leverage Davis had and the fact that he refused to re-sign with the Celtics made it a done deal. If he said- sure ill resign with the Celtics- I have no doubt Tatum would be on the Pelicans right now.
Hell has frozen over. We agree on something.

Lebron's a great player, I'm not diminishing that. Again, for like the millionth time as you keep straying away from the center of the argument - I made the claim that Jordan didn't jump from team to team. He stuck with the Bulls for the entirety of his career and built a dynasty. Lebron has not done that, and he always jumped to a situation that was beneficial for him. When things got tough, he moved on. Things never really got tough for MJ in the 90's, but the premise still stands.

You keep saying the only time he moved to a ready made team was in Miami. I literally just pointed out Cleveland and the inside track on AD to the Lakers. It's clear you don't get it.

Kyrie shot 6 more free throws than the entire Pacers team. gmafb. That guy has no room to whine.

I wonder when the last time DeAndre Jordan played 37 minutes in a game. Geezus.
And played well.

12 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks.

The Pacers only scored 94 points vs the Nets.

Nobody talking about this though.

To be fair, players didn't have quite the freedom of movement they do today during MJ's era. If they did, perhaps then we would have seen other great players joining together to try to beat him, which may have resulted in him either changing teams or trying to recruit other great players to the Bulls.

Heck, he may have tried to do it early when he couldn't get past the Celtics or Pistons.
