If you just looked at Kareems accolades, numbers and overall success independently of anyone else you would think he was the unquestioned GOAT by a mile. He gets overlooked far too often.

Yeah, but to be fair, some of that is just because of when he played, imo.

Kareem entered the NBA in the 1969-70 season and retired after the 1989 season. For the first 10 years of his career, the NBA was still a niche sport that was barely televised. Even when we entered the "modern era" it took another 2-3 years before the NBA really started to gain a foothold as something more than a niche sport. So most people only saw the last 7-8 years of his career.

There is currently one player in the entire NBA averaging better than 25 points while shooting at least 50% from the field and 45% from 3-point range. That player is #Cavs Collin Sexton.

Hey you said LeBron's skills would start to diminish once he got to the Lakers. Since you were wrong about that exactly what year will he start to fall apart on the court? Wanna see if your second guess is a little more accurate. This is your chance for redemption.

If anything he needs to shoot more. No reason he should not take at least 6-8 threes per game.

Did you know Giannis is the greatest Milwaukee Buck of all time?

Cowherd said that he's heard from multiple sources that Lebron loves him some Bradley Beal and wants him on the Lakers.

I don't know how they afford to get him though. I know that last off-season they apparently had cleared enough cap space to add a 3rd max level guy...but I don't know if they can do it this off-season.

If they could, they'd rival the best "Big 3's" in history.

agree, but in a discussion like this one here I think most or all saw MJ play and remember him well. some of the usual suspects might have an agenda and say Lebron, but think more only disagree with the notion that he is not even in the discussion.

I was the biggest MJ fanboy there ever was. I started watching basketball because of Jordan. I followed the Bulls closely. First on the Sports page as a young kid, then by watching all their games on WGN when I was old to stay up.

As a teen, I planned my work schedule around Bulls playoff games. I have my favorite teams today to be sure, but I will never be as emotionally invested in a team as I was the Jordan Bulls.

I say all this to provide some background.

I believe it is a dead even tie between MJ and LeBron. Both achieved things the other didn’t. Both are alone at the top of the NBA’s Mount Rushmore.

It is okay to come down on 1 side or the other of the debate. But people who say it isn’t close are deluding themselves.

KCP and Schroder for Beal, they'd have to deal Kuz for a 1st to include in the deal for Beal.

Stop it man.

Why would the Wizards want any of those players?
