Thought I was going to have to make my ribs in the crock pot today (fortunately I have an awesome Hawaiian style ribs recipe that uses the crock pot) because we've been getting a lot of rain.

But, I just checked the weather and it looks like the BBQ gods are providing a window of time between storms that it looks like my smoker is back in play.

Always a great day when you can grill something.

If I remember right.....Miller was a really good shooter from deep but he was more of a mid range shooter, a dinosaur in today's League.

Just googled it, 4.7 of his almost 13 FGA's were from 3.

Ribs cooking in the crockpot now. When they're done gotta marinate them & throw 'em on the grill so a short time. Also making stuffed mushrooms & jalapeno poppers. And creme brulee. But that stuff's for my wife and sis-n-law. Not much of a fan of sweet treats. Half of the grub's going acroos the street to my bro-n-law's.

It may look like it.

But the way the game has changed, very possible people will be shooting even more 3s in a few years.

It's all about dunks and 3's rather than mid range shot, defense, etc.

That wouldn't surprise me. What would surprise me is if the NBA puts in a 4 point line.

NBA players make less than 40% on mid range shots and they are only worth 2 points.

Dribbling into pull up, contested mid range jumpers are the most inefficient shots in the game.

Limited those shots is a big reason why scoring is up. The narrative that today’s players don’t defend is totally false. It is just that modern offense is a lot harder to guard.
