Tucker is a good scorer. But Caruso contributes more. Tucker needs to expand his game beyond scoring. He will likely eventually be better than Caruso. But he's still learning.

To be fair, he kind of was. It's a credit to him that he kept working hard and has developed into a much better player than any of us thought he could.

Heck, I always said he was here because of Lebron and I actually always liked him and stuck up for him.

He plays solid defense for a rookie. He seems like a hard worker and he will eventually be a good rotational player on a contending team (hopefully the Lakers are that team). It says a lot about him and what the Lakers think of him that he's a rookie and managing to find minutes on a roster this deep.

Kuzma is the best scorer of all 4.

But he also lacks court sense and makes a lot of bad decisions on both ends.

I would take Caruso and Wes Mat all day over Kuzma. Kuzma’s stat line will usually look better, but the other 2 make winning plus. Kuzma often cancels out his production with bad shots and missed rotations.

When you are talking about end of the bench players on a team with LeBron, AD Harrell and Schroeder, you need role guys who fit. Not the best scorer available.

Caruso and Wes Mat fit.

THT is talented and could develop into something. But he isn’t battle tested. It would be a mistake for the Lakers to let go of 2 proven vets at this point.

Scoring is not what is needed most nights. Solid defense, ball movement and occasional made shots is what the Lakers need from their 8th and 9th guys.

Reggie Miller's a class act. Last night Steph passed him for 2nd all time on the 3 pointer list. He called and congratulated him. Took Miller 1,389 games to hit 2,560 three's. Took Steph 715 games to hit 2,562.

Thought I was going to have to make my ribs in the crock pot today (fortunately I have an awesome Hawaiian style ribs recipe that uses the crock pot) because we've been getting a lot of rain.

But, I just checked the weather and it looks like the BBQ gods are providing a window of time between storms that it looks like will put my smoker back in play.
