Kyrie might say that he cares about winning.

But to date, his actions say otherwise.

Don’t think you can say Kyrie cares about winning and Harden doesn’t.

Both players want to win. Both players also have character flaws that make it difficult for teammates to work with them. And that negatively impacts winning.

I don’t know about Kyrie, but the only way Haeden cares about winning is if it’s convenient for him. If it’s not F it everyone knows where he will be.

@wilwhite retiring as mod. Never rolled around in the mud like some of us, slinging insults and jabs.....just a fair and good guy presenting facts and debating the topic. IMO.

I don't know. I think I tend to agree with Wiggy on this one. If the question is "would you consider Harden a top 25 player in the NBA", the answer is obviously a resounding yes.

But being in the top 25 in a re-draft where we know what we know now?

I'm not so sure a lot of franchises are going to be want a guy who is basically useless if he's not scoring, who makes the kind of demands that he does, seems to be more interested in making it rain at the strip club than winning basketball games and can't even get you past the 2nd round most years, let alone win a title.

And apparently, he's shown up out of shape for training camp as well as showing up late.

Yeah he does have a point and the $40M/year is obviously the difference. If you are paying a guy that much you want to know you can build around him. You can build around Harden but a little more tricky.

Guys I personally would take over Harden that make $30-$40M/year

9 total - Steph, KD, Lebron, Kawhi, Kyrie, Lillard, Jokic, AD, Giannis

Guys I would take over Harden on long-term and age a factor:

6 total - Murray, Booker, Mitchell, Tatum, Bam, Towns

Guys that make $20M or less or on rookie contracts I would take over Harden...potential is a key here as well as contract...

5 total - Morant, Luka, Trae, Herro, Zion

Iffy...Ingram, J Brown, Zinger, LaVine

I mean there is 20 and 4 iffy’s. I’m sure I am missing some. He is around 25 but it’s close but he is still a top 10 player in this league...he is getting a little too much hate imo

He is a cancer in the locker room because Houston catered to him.....and Houston deserves most of the blame for that.....a player only gets away with what a team lets them.....

I want to see him go somewhere like Sac, NY Knicks, or Chicago. LMAO.
