Ive never seen this kind of arrogance from a fan of a program like Minnesota...
"a program like Minnesota"??? lol

You mean a program that has produced

the likes of Ric Flair, Brock Lesnar, & Vern Gagne? Three of the biggest names in Pro Wrestling history?

A school that ranks 6th all-time in the # of Natl Titles won in college wrestling, with all of them coming in the 21st Century.
A school that has produced TWICE AS MANY Heavyweight Natl Champs in the 21st Century than any other school. Call UMn HWT U maybe? lol

So the current 2 time HWT Champ UMner Gable Stephenson, with another year left to wrestle could easily join that above list of pro wrestling giants.

Back to college wrestling, former Gophers have gone on and started state HS tourneys, and other programs at other colleges that have thrived, in fact dominated in some cases(Augsburg), and also the Mn Amatuer Wr Club which has become the #1 Olympic and Natl Team feeder program in the country.

Another Gopher Wrestling Hall of Famer, the one who recruited the guy who started up the Minnesota HS Wrestling tournament, went on to win a Nobel Peace Prize for saving at least a Billion lives with his plant research.

Shall I continue? Our Golf Program has been to multiple NCAA tournaments just in the 21st Century, finishing in the Top Ten multiple times, including winning the Natl Title. Has produced 2 Individual Natl Champs and a future PGA #1 ranked in the world player, Tom Lehman, who most recently has dominated the Sr Tour and arguably the most prolific women's golfer in history, Patty Berg, winner of the AP Female Athlete of the Year 3 or 4 times and a member of the International Golf Hall of Fame.

Outside of winning a title, our Women's VB team has been one of the most successful college VB programs of the 21st Century, making something like 5 Final Fours.

Our Track team has a Natl Title and a bunch of other high NCAA placings.

Our Men's Gymnastics Team has never won a title, but has several 2nd place finishes along with a ton of Top Ten finishes.

For the 4th time in the last decade, a Gopher Diver has been awarded the Natl Diver of the Year Award. Gophers have won 36% of the Diving Natl Titles in the last 11 years, with our most recent Diver winning 2 this year for 4 total. Maybe instead of HWT U, UMn could be Diver U? I still prefer Back2Back U, though. :)

Our Women's CC team just finished 5th in the nation, btw. lol

Not sure about ping pong, but they did win back to back Natl Championship Strong Man Competitions back around 1901-02 time period, and they won a 5 man pocket billiards Natl Title in 1943 as well, and a few titles in one of those Rifle sports? Think it was called Match?

I forgot to mention that NFL Hall of Famers Bronko Nagurski and Leo Nomellini competed as a duo in Pro Wrestling and won several World Championships. ;) Just more Gopher Ass kicking!!!

Our Mascot, Goldy Gopher has been awarded 4 National Championships by the UCA/UDA association, the same that awards those 19 Dance Natl Titles the Gophers have won!!!

If only someone like Capital One had a formula that sums up athletic departments, with monetary incentives.

I thought that I did mention the Sears Director's Cup? Gophers make the ALL-TIME Top 25 by how they've ranked in that thing since it's very beginning.

Gophers were in 5th in the Sears Director's Cup standings at the end of the Winter season of 2018-19, and finished the year ranked 20th, 7 spots ahead of Oregon,

I’m too lazy to look it up. Probably the only year. Combine women and men see what you get.

Capital One Cup is better they weigh the points by sport it’s not even across the board like Sears Cup
